Smith has really grown on me. The bloke knuckled down and has showed some fight and intelligence in his batting as of late. Unless something happens that hampers his continual development I can't see how he won't be the next captain.

Marsh is playing out of his skin too. Great knocks so far but plenty still to do.

Smith didn't switch from bowling leg spin to batting or something.

He was considered more of an all rounder early on but he was always a batting all rounder.

It was just the leg spin hype.
