100 to Darsh

Bit of luck but gee he has batted well, makes you wonder how he only averages 35 in FC cricket.

I wonder what Lehmann could do with Usman Khawaja, Chris Lynn and Phil Hughes. I reckon he could get those 3 firing just like he has to Marsh, Smith and Johnson.

He takes off his helmet and looks pretty chuffed. Well he might. Phillip Who-ghes?

70.2
Duminy to Marsh, 1 run, floated up and drifting to leg, nudged through square and that's it - Marsh, who made a century on debut three years ago, has his second Test ton

Settle down.

One century does not mean he's 'firing'

Needs to show he can do it over a period of time.

But a good effort nonetheless.

Marsh has scored 9 centuries in red ball cricket in 88 matches. Approx 1 in every 10 matches

Michael Clarke has 43 centuries in 171 red ball matches. Approx 1 in every 4 matches

That type of gap in the one test team is pretty stunning.

We all had a go at Cook for his negative captaincy but G. Smith has seriously been waiting for the new ball for about 15 overs. They have been in a holding pattern for about an hour not really trying to do much.

I mean its not Cook bad but they have been pretty flat.

I agree

Just letting the game drift waiting for batsman error or for the new ball

I'm also a little concerned that HH1908 might have been right about the balance of the side. Boy does the old ball look easy to play.

These two need to survive to stumps. Blunting the new ball will destroy the Prots.
