There are people out there who pay big dollars for dominatrix's to do to them what Mr Slave is doing to Seth Efrika for free..

So in a way they should be grateful..

Winning by heaps is obviously more fun than losing by heaps. But I miss competitive close Test cricket. When is the last time we won a close game? No close games in the second ashes. No wins in the 1st ashes or India. It's been a while.

Nothing in cricket beats a competitive and closely fought Test, it's been too long. Hopefully the saffers show up in the next test.

Gimme the Aussies destroying teams any day.

And South Africa...

Boy, was I wrong that they'd try to go for a draw!

Johnson, wow.... again and again... as long as others chip in you'll be bloody hard to beat, reminds me a bit of how Hadlee carries NZ in the 80s - lots of other good players, but when you have a quick that is bowling this well, and regularly running through whoever is in front of him... half the job is done

Be interesting to see how the Saffers respond

They've responded by saying the pitch made him look better than he is and he mainly gets tail-enders.

The Proteas, and Smith's, main downfall was Johnson, with the skipper going out to him twice, but Biff was adamant they would not be bogged down by memories in PE, and they would find a solution to the Johnson puzzle.

He continued: "I think our game plans and mindsets are good. I think the surface suited his style of bowling here. He got a lot of indifferent bounce, he got a lot of balls to get really big on batters from good areas, which made it very tough.

"It's not long ago, where we've been able to put him under pressure. He's obviously in form at the moment and confident. We've just got to find a way to make sure he doesn't bowl as he did in this game.

"I believe he's bowling well, the wicket played a big role in the success that he had. The stats in the Ashes also say he picked up a lot of lower order wickets, so the key is for our top order to set some big partnerships. Hopefully, we make sure he keeps coming back and bowling and bowling and bowling.

Haha yeah blame it on the pitch. Nice try. Funny the Aussies managed to get 700 on the same pitch for only 14 wickets down.

Would love to have seen the journo ask Graeme Smith if he considers himself a tail-ender these days.

Johnson's wickets:
(BOLD genuine tail ender; ITALICS genuine batsmen)

Smith
Petersen
Du Plessis
de Villiers
McLaren
(apparently an all rounder)
Peterson
Morkel

Petersen
Smith
de Villiers
Duminy
McLaren

Smith is in denial, terrible captain and he has rarely ever fired against us.

Notice he didn't mention his geniused decision to send us in.
