Will be interesting, RSA missing AB and Morkel - our first real series without McCullum... everything depends on Williamson, Taylor and Watling with the bat, and the three quicks for us... openers (notably Guptill) are suspect, and #5 and the all-rounder (Santner) are not proven...

Risky for SA going in with just 3 pacemen seeing that Philander and Steyn breakdown every 2nd test these days. Apart from Williamson and Taylor the kiwis batting is as dodgy as ours.

Yeah and it's been a while too, that accuracy and pace combination looks like it's back in order.

Great first day from us, but as AG mentioned we rely far too much on Kane and Roscoe.

I do rate Latham and Watling, if Guptill is ever going to be a true test batsman this series is the final litmus test I reckon, if he doesn't fire here we shouldn't bother again really.
