Sounds like the mix of prescribed drugs is not a good one at all. And apparently energy drinks found in the house.

Lots of finger pointing here but oxy apparently peps you up while tramadol makes you drowsy. Combined with energy drinks I wouldn't be surprised if the boys ended up self prescribing their doses to try and even out the side effects

All the opiates cause respiratory depression at higher doses. They probably had little tolerance.

Whatever has happened, whether accidental or intentional, they've only hurt themselves. And some morons in the media (and on this forum) are talking about them as if they're criminals. They've hurt nobody and this shouldn't be a witch hunt.

I'm with Bunniesman on this one. Im a lifelong loller-of-Souffs but that does not blind me to common sense.
If these two have done something stupid then what they are going through right now is punishment enough. They have harmed themselves and nobody else.

Whilst their recovery is the most important thing right now. Let's not pretend they have not harmed the reputation of the NRL and Souths. There is no point sacking them but they need to go through some sort of education program on the effects of drugs and alcohol.

When it involves footy people it must be a bad dose or an accident or a bad reaction or an unfortunate addiction or the doctors fault.

That's right on Aaron and Dylan was lying in a pool of his vomit.

One of them has had fluid on the lungs too.


Back to Aaron it's believed the paramedics in the ambo were extremely worried and doing all they could. Aaron was critical.

Thinking of their families too and fingers crossed they continue to show signs of improvement in the next 24hrs.

Yep spot on regarding the energy drinks.

Detectives/police found empty cans in Gray's granny flat.

Not smart of them at all.

There must be more education on prescribed drugs that's for sure to prevent this happening.
