To small for an impact player??? WTF. take a look at Sullivan. Starting him off the bench will give us an established prop coming into the game fresh after 20 or so. Also seeing two of our biggest boppers Stevo and Lomu as the starting props. is better to look at than Jason Stevens and Danny "heart and soul until the 4th tackle in defence THEN give away a silly penalty" Nutley...

I don't believe Nutts is the right size for a prop. Stevo and Lomu give us alot of size. Its a given that bails will always start. Lock or second row I couldnt care less, but I believe Gallen has to start due to the fact he is probably the most effective forward at the club. We have an option of bails at lock or bird or dumas, if we leave Hilder at hooker and Sully on the bench. I'm not too fussed aobut who starts out of dumas or Bird, but I'd generally have Bird due to the fact he is an experience player, his defence is really developing, he can pop a pass and he does possess a kicking game. But i gues that wont matter with Dykes back.

Sorry to be a party pooper guys but it's impossible to pick a side for the start of 2005 when we haven't seen the form of our new guys in the trial.

There always seems to be a some bolters in the team because of how hard they have worked on their game in the off season or terrific form in trials which forces the coach to include them in the squad.

Expect plenty of surprises for the new season. I noticed alot of you putting in teams on paper that were almost the same as the team running around in 2004. Do people forget where that team ran this year? Or just like me found it hard to assess the possible abilities of some of the new guys.

I mean even poor BTR was confused he only put in a squad of 15.
But he still found a spot for Ryan McGoldrick.
What was the clinching factor BTR?
Was it his poor discipline and lack of focus in the secondlast match against Melbourne? Or his turnstyle defence and lack of speed out wide?
