The MCG was already the best sporting ground in the country.

It'll be great to see it all dolled-up and new after the recent renovations.

I dont get it.

Well, our home games are there because we are contracted to play 4 games a year there (or 3??).

The game against Melbourne was scheduled there, (Melbourne home game, not Richmond) to punish the MCC for their Prelim Final stance.
