ok people, after a great draft it's time for everyone to post their teams. my apologies to those who have to do it again.

it's important to post your team here so everyone else can match team to poster and i can easily find everyones' team for next season.

so please post your team and give us your thoughts on how well or poorly you did in the draft or in ranking your players.

i'll get it going.

i have to say i'm quite pleased with my team. going in i told myself if i missed out on larry johnson i had to get reggie bush and luckily he was still there at #9. actually i wrote down a list of 11 players i wanted and i managed to get 8 of them, which made me pretty happy.

best pick - reggie bush - this guy will be as good as marshall faulk and right now he is half rb and half #2 wr for the saints.

biggest reach - vince young - i was going to say todd heap in the 5th which made me miss out on frank gore but taking young in the 7th was not the smartest thing to do. damned hogs made me nervous by taking leinart and rivers early.

best value pick - jay cutler - i picked him in the 16th round which is such a steal it's not funny. this guy looks like a perfect fit in denver and a franchise qb.

weakest position - rbs - right now i'm a bit thin because the heap and young picks screwed me a little. however they could end up being my strongest position if a couple of oldish rb starters break down.

prediction - 16 and 0. nah just kidding. i'll be in the mix of things come the business end of the season.

so that's it.

please post your teams and give us a commentary on it.

Baltimore Ravens (BAL-D/ST)

My team is very well balanced imo with maybe a weak spot in the WR positions. I was suprised Tom Brady fell to the 3rd rnd so instead of drafting a big WR I decided to take Brady. Hines Ward and Donald Driver are good consistant starting WR but they aswell as Moulds are gettin on in age.

Can't believe L.T fell done to 5th in the 1st rnd but i was more than glad to takehim off the board. Miami Dolphins took Jamal Lewis one pick before I was going to which really got me cut, but McAllister will still be a solid back hopefully keeping his starting spot for the whole year.

Best pick: L.T

Biggest Reach: Probably Tatum Bell in the 2nd. May not even be starting this year with Mike Bell now 1st in the depth chart.

Weakest position: WR's

Best Value: I got lucky with L.T falling to 5th and Brady to the 3rd rnd. and maybe Chad Pennigton in the 14th considering he is starting.

Kinda happy with some of my picks, not with other. I had the thing set to my list all the time and only found I could select any of the players after round 9.

Got a list of young QB's that can be used for trades in the future. 2 current starters and one that will be a star.

Selected Lendale White as I expect Brown to get hurt again.

Best: The team leader Portis.... #1 pick in the draft!!!

Biggest reach: My QB's... all of them. An untested starter, a guy that has only started a handful of games and another that hasnt started one and may not this season.

Best value: Heath Miller. Depending on what Captain Kaos does, he may get a start. With no Bus the Steelers may use the TE more in the redzone.

Weak point: RB. If Portis has a bad day, I will struggle to win games.

J. Plummer (DEN-QB)

RB
C. Williams (TB-RB)
C. Perry (CIN-RB)
C. Benson (CHI-RB)
B. Jacobs (NYG-RB)

M. Jenkins (ATL-WR)
M. Booker (MIA-WR)
J. Porter (OAK-WR)

TE
T. Gonzalez (KC-TE)
K. Winslow (CLE-TE)

Kicker
M. Stover (BAL-K)

Defense
Cincinnati (CIN-D/ST)
Kansas City (KC-D/ST)

Best: W. Parker - No bus stealing his TD runs should mean he will have a big TD year.

Biggest reach: J. Porter (OAK-WR) - Totally out of favour, but who knows, the guy can play. Just needs an attitude readjustment.

Best value: T. Henry (TEN-RB) - With the word on the grapevine that he may be starting, not something I thought about when selecting him.

Weak point: I would still say RB as so many young guys, and a few who are second string means that injuries/downgrades to any of my starters puts me without any proper backups.

I have a good starting team, though pretty weak once you go past that, should have prepared better for the draft, though picking last wasn't in my calculations.

A great draft last night. Peyton should be fine for a few more years.

Narrabri Dazzlers

QB
Peyton Manning
Kerry Collins
Charlie Fry

RB
Warrick Dunn

Ahman Green

Michael Bennett

WR
Plaxico Burress
Reggie Brown
Michael Clayton
Keyshawn Johnson
Andre Johnson
Matt Jones

TE
Randy McMichael
Vernon Davis

K
Gostkowski

D/ST
Buffalo

Best Pick: Peyton Manning, always in the top of QB's.

Biggest Reach: RB's. Ahman Green- Hopefully he'll come good back to his glory days, but more than likely won't. Also drafted a lot of reserve backs to big stars, who may get injured.

Best Value: Randy McMichael

Week point: RB's, and not having a massive standout receiver.

Best Pick: None in particular. Obviously if Jackson fires then he can do damage as can Foster but really nobody here is a gun.

Biggest Reach: Probably Branch but damn it he has the skills if only he'd apply himself. (God that sounds like one of my school report cards  )

Best Value: Cobbs. Maybe not this year, maybe, but he will be a feature back in a year or two.

Weak Point: See Best Pick & reverse it.

Geez douglasallen91, I think you have one of the best well rounded squads, well at least your starters are, plus 1 good backup. I take it the other comps your in don't have 12 people in them?

more referring to my rb's, yahoo one i have 12 teams, and nfl.com 2 main ones have twelve teams also

If L.J gets injured your RB's will be as thin as paper. Great WR's though.:)

I have made a few changes to my lineup signing a few FA's after recent reflecting. Trying to find a break out player.

thanks for the response.

but there are still 4 teams missing.

by the power of deduction it looks like paullyboy, mal meninga, joelcainefan and whoever is jowls wolverines still need to put up their teams.

c'mon guys, i need to see your teams here for future reference.

now who's ready for some football.

i feel like my streak will hit 17 this week. my apologies in advance to dogs of war for forcing a losing start on him in consecutive seasons.

btw, that was some nice smack talk by ea in the league message board. i'm still laughing.

i was just checking the scoreboard and the miami dolphin team still has dominic davis in the starting lineup.

this tells me that he has already forgotten about this league.

if davis is still there on monday morning i will be forced to assume he has left his team for dead so i will lock him out and i will manage his team for injuries and bye weeks.

ea will get a lucky break this week but he will be the only one.

.

if he doesn't show up some time next week and i have to take over his team then his team will stay as is for the season.

no trades, no adding or dropping players. i will just change players for injuries and bye weeks.

hopefully the first week of the nfl will rekindle his memory and he shows up.
