How many people are honestly going to spend seven hours in the sun and then back it up with a night at the footy? I can't imagine too many poms would, especially to see Aus vs NZ.

However, ideally all along I said I would have started the tournament a week later and played the Aus vs GB match this week in Brisbane. Hence having NZ stronger for the early matches and giving GB a rest along the way. I'm not sure what's on next week, but it still wouldn't solve the problem of our media's attitute.

You'd be surprised how many Poms would go to the league anyway. For them, tickets are cheap as the 3 dollars equal a pound or around about that, might be 2.5, but the point is the same. For them it could be a cheap night out. Then you have the fact that Suncorp sell out matches!

Crowd definitely looks bigger than Aus v GB.

I'd say 30,000 or just under that - very disappointing.

Disappointing of course. I bet there a lot of Sydney siders wishing they had of shown more faith in the international game after missing that match. But to be fair to Sydney, I'll point out again that I think it was a mistake to take two matches to the one city. They've probably sacrificed one sellout or near sellout for two mid 20,000 crowds. Still a disappointing crowd but certainly not the best planning or marketing of the event by the ARL.

Leigh.

they shouldn't have shown it live either

another 7-8k and it would've been a full house with the exception of the members

So we are at 90,567 with three games to go, can we beat 2004's aggregate total of 182,313??

Wellington, hope for at least 20,000 but at this stage it looks more like 18,000.

Brisbane, 40,000 min at this stage, can we get 50,000 with all the cricket fans??

Sydney, 12,000 pre sold so far, really need to get well above 30,000 IMO.

So 18,000 + 40,000 + 30,000 = 88,000 more people for the last 3 matches which will take us to a total of 178,313. Falling 4,000 short!!!

Your thoughts??

Total figure was 178,661....not bad i was only 349 people off my guess!!
