Billy Ngawini is Maori.

A couple of others to watch out for at the Bulldogs are centres Namila Davui and Chris Tuatara.

Do they have be rookies? Or can they have a few First Grade games in their name?

Brett Delaney is one name...A centre/lock/five-eighth that could be a star in the future.

Zeb Taia is a front rower of whom we expect big things.

Josh Cordoba is a Nathan Cayless clone who has future Eels captain written all over him.

Stars of the Junior Kiwis - Sonny Fa'i, Sam Rapira, Frank-Paul Nuaausuala - they're the best bets from the Warriors, Fa'i is a backrower who came over with the Warriors named in an extended bench to play Manly last year, Sam Rapira is a prop who was the Junior Kiwis captain, and Frank-Paul Nuaasuala is a ball playing back rower in the Ali Lauitiiti mould.

The people mentioning Billy Ngawini are spot on, he is a future Kiwis hooker without a doubt. The guy is pure class. Absolutely ripped the Australian Invitiaional XIII up down the centre of the ruck in the Sydney test curtain raiser.

Look forward to seeing if Kris Inu develops further, his game on grand final day was brilliant.

Also another name worth looking out for - Fraser Anderson at the Broncos. Younger brother of Louis and Vince Anderson, he's a winger who outdid Leon Bott in recent sprint trials, supposedly Vinnie Anderson size too. Was a Warriors development player before taking time off to join the mormen pilgrimage that each of the brothers undertook prior to beginning their NRL careers.

I cant speak for other clubs but the tigers next young guns are likely to Dean Collis, Shannan Mcdonnell and Harrison to cement a spot in the side.

Dave Pangai at the Roosters is going to do great things - dunno if he'll get his chance this year but if not it wont be long.

aside from the 3 already mentioned Samu Wara and Sam Moa are probably the next closest to debuting for the tiges and all have the potential to make an impact, the improved depth at the tigers means that they may well not manage to break into first grade this year though

True.

But I thought the original post meant players who may play Grade in 2006 who could be the game's next stars. Jarryd is a little while away yet.
