Got a couple of tickets to Brisbane v GC this morning and the pax is already a tick under 32,000. Should go close to being 50K you would think.

Will be a 50k crowd for sure.

I reckon the Broncs will average over 35k this year. Shame about the rain on Monday night, turned about 10k away at a guess.

So another split round, whats the best we can hope for?

The Knights are doing a promotion to honour the Emergency Service workers who did so much in the recent Newcastle floods, so hopefully between those guys turning up and the fans showing up to display their appreciation we can push the 18-20K mark...

Though that said their CEO, Stephen Crowe is expecting them to push the 26K mark....

Titans should continue their reasonable run with crowds at Carrara, and I expect should be around the 16K mark, but what about the rest of the round?

There will possibly be a man and his dog at CUA in Penrith in the other Saturday night game.... A fine Saturday should see between 11-13K turn up at Canberra with the Raiders faithful being pretty consistent this year.

Oki will possibly get its usual 9-11K as per the rest of the season, and the MNF game could be one of the lowest crowds yet with the Bulldogs missing a lot of key players, and the Roosters not the most appealing opposition...

There was a good article on the Herald website yesterday quoting census data showing how Sydney's house prices and rent figures are exceptionally high, in proportion to our median sallaries when comparing to other areas of Australia. Hence with less disposable income to spend, this would put Sydney at some disadvantage when it comes to getting people into stadiums.
Still, it doesn't excuse many lazy Sydney fans, and the lack of vision from the NRL, in creating a culture where fans attend games.

I reckon the Bulldogs game can draw well over 15K... Well I'm hopeful it can.

Superb again for GC especially given the out of town/out of country opposition. Disappointing for Penny but wasn't expecting much.

Canberra will get 13k, Dragons 10k and Dogs 11 or 12k.

It was bloody freezing and EXTREMELY windy (one only had to watch the telecast to see the wind effects). 16k was a good crowd.

Better than expected crowd at Oki, Canberra is consistent with their average for the year. Well looking at the round so far, considering this really could of been a disaster round, it hasn't fared too badly.

Really looking forward to Rnd 17 in terms of crowds, Broncos v Titans (40K), Tigers v Penrith (20K), Souths v Storm at Gosford (17K), Sea Eagles v Roosters (18K), Cowboys v Warriors (18K) will all help push the round averages back north.

Sharks/Dogs on a sunday afternoon next week at cronulla should go close to a full house, at least 17/18k imo.
