I think we should be urging Manly fans to turn up too... it's not like it's an interstate match. 30 minutes across town.

Lucky to get them to go across the road.

.

As a Manly fan from outside the District, that's so true. They don't call it the 'Insular Peninsular' for nothing. There's people who've been born, lived their entire lives and died without crossing Middle Harbour...

Club averages As of Round 4, Seven of eight games complete

Three games
Sydney Roosters -- 15,860

Two games
Brisbane -- 37,499
Gold Coast -- 29,988
South Sydney -- 24,740
North Q'land -- 21,638
Newcastle -- 19,421
Penrith -- 15,837
Warriors -- 15,163
Manly -- 14,976
Parramatta -- 14,117
Cronulla -- 13,449
Melbourne -- 13,205
Canberra -- 11,333
St Geo Illa -- 11,304

One game
Wests Tigers -- 15,185
Bulldogs -- 14,675

Cronulla's game tomorrow will put them up with the Roosters, and hopefully ahead of them.

IMO, Souths deserve a large chunk of the owing for the R1 fixture, while the 'Dogs figures will show no benefit from Friday night's bumper.

Yup. Even more surprising is that the Roosters are mid-field rather than languishing. Penrith are doing sensationally well, second best in the Sydney Basin behind Soufs.

The 'Dogs average will increase :fist:

Round 7 v Tigers...should pull 30k again, Dogs average will be up around 20k after that with any luck. Lets just hope Tigers can put a few wins together in the meantime

Even if Souths keep winning their crowd average will go down. i think they could get 20K this week at the Coast if the weather is sunny. But after that we have home games against...
Warriors,Canberra, Panthers, Sharks, Storm(at C.Coast),Cowboys, Titans, Manly and Roosters. All teams that the numbers will have to be made up of only Souths fans- so maybe 15-17k each game I'm hoping for.

I can only see (like I said if we are winning) Panthers and Roosters (which both usually draw well for us) get over 20k. Note for the Roosters one it will be all Souths except for about 4 roosters fans.

Capacity at Gosford is high 19's I believe... they got about 20,100 once back in the Beagles days.

It looked almost capacity at Roosters/Knights last year and that was 18,124 from memory... hopefully those last few seats are filled up and we might even push that 20 barrier... who knows.

Wish I wasn't f**king working :fist: - I refuse to miss Round 8 Wests v Melbourne!

hopefully the dogs/manly game can get over 20k, i doubt it, but both teams came over impressive wins overall this week, so it would be great to see over 20k for saturdays game.

At least Souths, the Bulldogs and Wests Tigers are helping raise the averages of Sydney clubs, even if they can't take all the benefits...

Very true... although will the Tigers degenerate into how Souths were last year at Telstra if their form continues?

Don't even bother trying to lay it on us. Your fans don't travel, simple as that.
