9k is a poor crowd, but I was actually expecting a few less.
I think it's stupid that we as fans keep putting the boot into other clubs' figures. We all support the same game here. If you want to ignore common sense and reasons behind disappointing crowd figures just to have a snipe at another teams' fans, it's a bit petty, but whatever makes you tick I guess.

I wouldn't count on 20K at the Cowboys for their first MNF home game. A significant number of our supporters drive 4-10hrs from Cairns, Mackay, Mount Isa and all points in between just to get to the game. It remains to be seen how MNF affects that figure. I have a season ticket but can't drive from Cairns because of work. Others without season tickets will struggle as well.yakstorm said:Its encouraging that next round is looking quite a strong one crowd wise as well:
Storm v Panthers - Storm still undefeated so should be looking at 12-13K again
Sharks v Raiders - Provided the weather is ok, Sharks should be looking at 15-16K here.
Sea Eagles v Titans - Same as the Sharks, so long as the weather is fine, the Brookvale faithful will be done there in droves.
Eels v Bulldogs - Will close to being sold out, as the rivalry between the clubs continues.
Knights v Broncos - Farewell to Johns will see not a spare seat at EA Stadium for this game
Cowboys v Rabbitohs - Another 20K crowd at Townsville.
So should be looking at an average of about 17K or so...
