Team Eddie McChins drew 35k at the MCG today, which is quite poor by their standards. That near 10k effort is great from the Storm, especially when you consider how archaic the facilities are at OP.

In defence, the pies were playing an interstate team while it was pouring rain, 35k is a very good turnout in the circumstances considering 48k were at the Dome to watch the Bombers vs Saints

And the Storm were playing in the same sh*t conditions against a side that has no travelling or interstate support...So yes, thankyou for bringing that up...That's my whole F*cking Point.

i was at the 'G and had the choice of standing in the rain at OP for 2 hours after the game or head to the Lexus Centre next door for a couple of quiet ones....wasn't a hard choice this evening

2 hrs during the game....the game at the 'G finished at about 4:40 got to the Lexus Centre at about 5:15

i was at the pies game mentioned here and was next door to the storm game at OP tonight...don't really see the big issue in 'wading' into this discussion, do you?

if your perfect day is to be out doors from 12:30-8 when it is freezing and pouring rain then good for you, i'd rather use that $15 it would have cost me to stand in the rain at OP on some beers at the Lexus Centre...but each to their own i guess

Dont worry man, just wade in. If your an AFL supporter and an NRL supporter i dont mind. Its not like we can really expect every melbournian to just stop supporting their fav AFL team cause there is a league team. Hope they hurry up and get OP developed so that everyone has better cover. Then you can enjoy both matches.
