Big years for Tendulkar and Ganguly, possibly a last hurrah for them, or do they have a couple of years in them yet?

India have Ganguly, Tendulkar, Yuvraj & Dhoni all in the top, plus Dravid seems to have been in good form in ODI's. Might put up more of a fight in the ODI's.

Tendulkar should as he's relatively young at about 33/34. In saying that he has been around a long time, wouldn't surprise me either way.

Tendulkar's been playing for 18-19 years - long time

Kallis #1  Aussies must miss those ,000s of runs

Vettori's done pretty well imo

Yeah, good generalisation there too Salivor.

I'd like to see number of games played included in those lists - oops, I'm sure some Kiwis will assume that comment is me having a go at Kallis ...

Have a read of some Australian posters opinions of Kallis around here.

Jacques Kallis in 2007: 9 tests, 17 innings, 3 not outs, 1210 runs, Highest score of 186*, averaged 86.42, 5 centuries and 6 half centuries.

I'd say he had a pretty good year.

Well I'm not other posters, I am Australian and I do rate Kallis - thus why I picked up on the generalisation.

The hatred that you and the other Kiwis here show of all things Australian is quite amusing.

Hey, don't like it eh?

However, I'm trying to find one that doesn't.

Let's see - JJ, Ozbash, Manu, yourself, Beaver - I was right!

Id have Kallis ahead of Michael Clarke in the current Australian team. Id go close to having him ahead of Symonds as well, except for Symonds fielding.

When did fielding keep you a spot in a test side? Kallis is twice the batsman and twice the bowler that Symonds is and a very good slips fieldsman as well.
