Too hard to say... I'd suggest that none of Melbourne, Brisbane, Bulldogs, or the Dragons will "win" it. Newcastle won't if Johns plays most games...

Beyond that, any of the others could win it - but the Roosters, Sharks, Raiders, Rabbitohs, Panthers, Titans and Tigers probably have decent shots

I don't think the Sharks will be in there although its hard to defend them based on the sh*t they dished up over the last 10 weeks of this years competition. If Noddy stays at halfback I can see us finishing in the bottom 3, but if not then I think we will go alright.

Bottom 3 for me

Souths, Titans and Panthers.

Last 3 IMO:
Sharks. Roosters. Raiders.

I'm feeling extremely confident about the Panthers. Our defence will improve with the loss of Preston Campbell, the loss of Danny Galea means we will have to use an actual centre and not a forward out of position, Luke Swain was never much of a player in my eyes, the 2 real losses for us are Craig Stapleton and Frank Puletua.

We won't be winning the competition or anything, but i think we can finish as high as 6th.

well lets hope their players will receive major season ending injuries next season. it will only be good for the game

A-Class Dickhead.

To want to see any player end up with any sort of injury, regardless who they play for is lowest of the low imo.

Bulldogs, Storm and Brisbane.

How sh*t are those three teams.

No talent or depth.

(Is that what you doggie supporters starting all these wankfests to put sh*t on other teams wanted to hear?)

13. Warriors: Lost alot of their good players over the last few years. cant see them improving in 07

Lol the Warriors lost Jones, Betham, Paleasina, Toopi, had a 4 point penalty imposed for salary cap breaches and still finished 9th in 06, with the 3rd best for and against in the comp.
In 07 we only really lose Webb (who will be replaced by McKinnon), Faumuina (who did nothing in 06 anyway) and Guttenbeil, plus we get to start the season with a settled halfback & 5/8 combo (in 06 our halfback only assumed the role a month after the season started). I reckon the Warriors are a reasonably safe bet for the top 8 in 07.

In no order, Sharks, Souths, Canberra.

Many have said Penrith, but Matt Elliot was successful in coaching a virtual 'no-name' Canberra side into the top 8.

With the players Elliot has at his disposal at Penrith, they may go even higher.

Raiders will come last, and battle it out with Souths.
Souths have no backline of any note.

I may even have a couple of bucks on the Cowboys for this honor next year. If they hadn't got away to such a great start this year they would have been right down there with Souths as well. They had rumours of big internal strife through the year which mirrored itself in the on field performances and unless they have sorted it out they may very well find themselves in the bottom half again.
