2008 NBA Playoffs!

Nice win for the Magic today. Dwight Howard -- the man beast -- joining an elite club with 25 pts, 22rebs and 5 blks. Still, the Raptors are a resillient team. Have to follow up with a win in Game 2.

By the way, anyone have any idea if any of these games is on Fox? I can't see them anywhere in the guide and that would be TRULY attrocious if they didn't have playoff games after playing four live games per week during the regular season.

no games on fox they still dont have the rights

haha!~ sweep!!

Good on them for winning. I hope a strong showing in the play offs can lead to them off loading Willie Green, Reggie Evans and add more money to their off season bounty.

Crazy times.

Without Yao, do Houston really have a chance anyway? T-mac will be dissapointed whether he likes it or not IMO.

I hate T-Mac (and Shaq, and all others who screwed my beloved Magic over) so I would be quite happy to see that chump ousted AGAIN!

you can't really compare the streak to the playoffs mainly because during the regular season, you generally face different opponents each game, meaning that other teams don't have enough time to figure you out.

Problem for Houston is that in this series utah have figured houston out by now, making it harder for them to perform as they don't have as many options as they would if they had Yao in their line up. Yao was always going to be a bigger lose for the rockets in the playoffs more so than the reg season.

They did go on that massive streak (21 or so games I think) without Yao so they definitely have a chance.

They have 2 chances...none and f**k all.
Look, its one thing to win 22 games in a row (great great accomplishment) its another to lock horns with the Jazz over a 7 game series.
TMac is once again not seeing the month of May.

Why so much T-mac hate? Shouldn't that be Hill hate?

I know T-Mac dicked them around with his back but ffs at least he played (occasionally ;-) )

lol you've got to give them some chance even if it's 1%. Wasn't this the series last season where everyone won the away games as well? I wouldn't be shocked to see the Rockets pull out a win next game. And don't forget I dislike the Rockets more then most teams so this isn't a biased opinion.

Well they do get Alston back for Game 3.

Seriously though, any chances of playoff success were evaporated when Yao opted for surgery.

Unfortunatly for T-Mac....he will get the blame and continue his streak of 1st round exits even though it isn't entirely his fault.

No,

Jazz won the last game away at Houston to clinch.

Cmon Jazz, 3-0 today.

If we wein the next two at home, Jazz are 39-4 at home for the season and will have the best record since the begin on January.

How about that Korver trade, hey people??

Hawks will win series 4-3. What a performance today toasting the "best team in basketball". Domination. I smell a repeat of Golden State against Mavs last year.
