Where did Gordon go?

Sustained a very serious injury to his skull. Copped a knee from Ian Henderson late in the arriors game and complained about headaches. Turns out he has fractured some bone above his ear and was operated on today. He will be out for an indefinate period of time.

Such a shame as he was going great for us.

Unfortunately he's injured.

May 27 - Michael Gordon will be sidelined for an indefinite period after sustaining injury in the Warriors game.

Gordon has sustained a fracture of the zygomatic arch, a bone extending forward from the side of the skull, over the opening of the ear. The injury was sustained late in the game against the Warriors when Michael was tackled coming of the line. Contact from the knees of Ian Henderson is thought to have caused the injury.

The injury left him nursing a very sore head for some days to come, however the real extent of the injury was first diagnosed after he continued to be troubled by it. CT Scans revealed the degree of the fracture and as a result is being operated on today to correct the injury.

I honestly can't believe Henderson didn't get charged for that, whilst McKendry was suspended for exactly the same thing.

Yeah it's ridiculous.

But the only part that pisses me off is we are now missing the best player in our backline. Hopefully he gets better soon. We won't miss McKendry, and Henderson being suspended wouldn't help us out at all either.
