Speaking of choking, Bellamy has won one out of three grand finals. Also would he now pick Kite in the origin?

I actually think Menzies is happy to go to the ESL for a season or two.

Sure, with a new baby and new house it would be easier to stay here, but there are some very good reasons to go now.

Ultimately, he isn't that different from anyone who has an opportunity to live and work overseas.

Congratulations Manly Sea Eagles, bask in the premiership win, you guys deserve it.

To win their finals combined on a 110-12 scoreline is incredible.

Winning the premiership is an amazing feeling, enjoy it while it lasts.

And thank god we now can finally go to that fact that in the last eight years half the teams in our competition have tasted this kind of glory.

This is just great ... or you think that this is an issue that needs to be looked at?

On a somewhat unrelated note, the Warriors effort in defeat last week wasn't actually that bad.

The more times I saw that game, the worse I thougth the Warriors went. Witt had a shocker, dropped balls from the scrum and other acts of stupidity gavew the gae away. Manly were red hot though and I don't think it really mattered in the end. But compared to the Storm Cronulla game there was no comparison. Warriors will go ok next year.

I don't understand all of this "Worst GF ever" BS that so many people are spouting.

It wasn't much of a contest in the last 35 minutes, but that was an entertaining and dominant display of real rugby league. Tbh, I haven't seen a team perform that well in a match in at least five or six years.

I hate this attitude that a close game somehow automatically becomes a good game. Like the 101 missed tackles and 40 knock-ons was overlooked when Melbourne pipped Brisbane in the final seconds a few weeks ago because of all the emotion. It was a sh*t display by both teams, somewhat saved by the fact that it was equal?

Nuh, f**k that. Manly were brutal in defence, they ran entertaining attacking plays and they did it seemingly without making errors. As a neutral, I personally loved the game. Very quick, intense and plenty of movement.

Manly, savour it. Don't particularly like or hate your club, but I think your players let the footy do the talking and put on a great show of the greatest game. Plenty of class from players and coach Hasler alike after the final siren too. Well deserved, and enjoy the celebrations! Winning a GF is an incredible thing to experience as a fan of any team. :D

Agree with what you say.

Disregarding the hyperbole from the tv commentators, the first 30 mins was great footy to watch.

The evil Manly now own all of us.

We are just going to have to STFU until next season.

Wd Manly, you are the undisputed champions of the NRL.

Anyone who doesnt recognise and honour that.... is an imbecile.

Can I get off the floor now?!!

TLE were VERY clearly on a backing tape. You could see him lip synching well out of time and before they came on the backing tape actually played with vocals before it was killed. Still great entertainment but it didn't fool anyone.

Got lots of pics coming up

Turn it up Wittyfan he was as shocking as he always is. The try he gave up when Lyon held the ball up and Witt came in sums up why Manly got rid of him. He's never been able to read defence the right game and always comes up with the wrong option. He could score as many tries as he likes but his reads in defence are always going to show him up. He stinks.

Ps GO MANLY!
