That caps off a great year for manly. people knocked manly, they cant win without monnas, they cant win with orford, orfrod chokes, lyon is crap and is not a 5/8 (to be fair I didnt think he was a 5/8 either until this years form), matai is injury prone and is caught out in D and he'll get suspended half the time (0 suspensions and didnt miss any game I think after coming back from surgery at the start of the year), perry is useless, nsw ignoring manlys players claims (kite in particualr was galling considering nsw have no depth or quality in the front row and he had played for australia a few months before!, and also stewart benched for gidley) but this shows all those people wrong.
And for the world cup plenty of manlys players had better be picked, otherwise im calling shennanigans. last year orford and watmough were in line for australia but a poor game so melbourne counterparts take them. well, glenn stewart should be guarenteed a spot somewhere, starting I believe. kite will be there as he is encumbent. stewart should be there, orford probably wont be but I would not be surprised if he is, watmough deserves a shot now after impressing this year, as does perry. and others the mix like the woflman and robertson have done themselves no harm and wouldnt look out of place, although they are longshots. If players like dallas johnson and quinn or turner make the squad over manlys counterparts after selectins last year I will be fuming.
