ill have to see the draw before i comment. it had so much bearing on this years standings its not funny

Definitely - if we get a sh*t draw again next year we'll most probably miss the 8

I'll be interested to see how well Canberra goes with a full strength side given how well they have done in the past month or two.

Lot of people going for Melbourne to get 4 in a row?

I really can't see that happening.

Anything they lost from Folau is more than made up by the fact they won't be carrying Matt Geyer again.

I'm not sure I want to do this again after picking the top 8 for this season correctly, but what the hell

1-Melbourne

Daylight

2-Manly
3-Cronulla (Baz will shine at a club with no history, no pride and no expectations)
4-Canberra
5-Brisbane

Bit of daylight

6-Warriors
7-Newcastle
8-Sydney Roosters
9-Gold Coast
10-Souths
11-North QLD
13-Bulldogs

Your money would be better spent on OneTel shares than attending these clubs matches...

14-Parramatta
15-Wests
15-Penrith

I think Cronulla, Canberra and Brisbane will all join Manly in the pack chasing Melbourne. Sides 6-13 are a bit of a lucky dip, and the bottom three sides are frankly terrible.

the sharks nxt season will have a real shot at the premiership

no they wont

The NRL will make a raft of interpretation changes this off season. Interchanges are likely to be reduce to 8. But the play the ball will be outlined as a wrestle free zone. players will be given no time to get off the tackled player next year. Gaurenteed. They always react at the end of the season to criticism. This will be a welcome change.

teams like Cronulla will not have the individual skills to score the points required to win fast games. They will still make the eight but top four is unliekly.

this is just a stab in the dark at a top eight bu i think these teams will be in the mix some where.

Dragons
Titans
broncos
melbourne
warriors
manly
newcastle
roosters

bulldogs
cowboys in the mix too

next year is going to be a tough comp. I can only see Cronulla and manly from this year's top eight going backwards.
