Randell, Mcfadgen, Chia, Pearn, Iselin,Moke, Peters, will play most of the year for Windsor but they will get a shot at first grade if there form is good enough.

While Waddell, Tia Kilifi, Romelo, Mckendry and Orton should all be in with a good chance early in the year of playing first grade.

Overall the top squad looks pretty good. I think that the lesser players in this top squad are better players the the likes of Brendan Worth and Mark O'Halloran. Great to see guys like Romelo, Penese, Mate, Waddell etc. in the top squad also.

Interesting to see Waddell in the top grade squad after not playing for 12 months. I daresay he'll pick up some experience with the top grade squad, but start the season in the NYC with the hope of him securing a FG spot later in the season.

Great to see Romelo up there. I'm a big fan and really hope he starts the year in FG.

NRL

Lachlan Coote*, Dan Randall, Michael Gordon, Geoff Daniela, Brad Tighe, Ben McFadgeon, Michael Jennings, Michale Mate*, Greg Waddell*, Junior Tia Kilifi, Shane Elford, Danny Chia, Luke Lewis, Jarrod Sammut, Bob Blair, Wade Graham*, Tremnt Iselin, Pee Wee Moke, Joel Romelo*, Paul Aiton, Keith Peters, Masada Iosefa, Nathan Smith, Matthew Bell, Frank Pritchard, Trent Waterhouse, Junior Moors, Josh Bateman, Gavin Cooper, Daniel Penese*, Joseph Paulo, Frank Puletua, Tim Grant, Sam McKendry*, Andrew Pearn, Petero Civoniceva, Adam Woolnough, Joel Orton

Out of that squad this would be my starting line up for the Panthers:

1. Lachlan Coote
2. Michael Gordon
3. Michael Jennings
4. Brad Tighe
5. Geoff Daniela
6. Wade Graham
7. Jarrod Sammut
8. Petero Civoniceva
9. Masada Iosefa
10. Tim Grant
11. Frank Pritchard
12. Luke Lewis
13. Trent Waterhouse

14. Paul Aiton
15. Nathan Smith
16. Sam McKendry
17. Adam Woolnough

3. Michael Jennings
4. Maurice Blair / Brad Tighe / Shane Elford
5. Michael Gordon
6. Wade Graham
7. Jarrod Sammut
8. Trent Waterhouse
9. Paul Aiton
10. Petero Civoniceva
11. Frank Pritchard
12. Joseph Paulo
13. Luke Lewis

14. Masada Iosefa
15. Adam Woolnough
16. Sam McKendry
17. Daniel Penese

18. Gavin Cooper - Backrow or Centre
19. Tim Grant - Frontrow
20. Joel Romelo - Halfback or utility
21. Frank Puletua - Front Row
22. Junior Moors - Front Row or Backrow
23. Nathan Smith - Utility, Lock or Centre
24. Greg Waddell - Centre
25. Michael Mate - Centre, Second Row

The forward pack is especially difficult to pick, as we have a lot of great players with very few of them having done enough to guarantee them positions.

The depth in the backs is a nice change, we have a few players who have done enough to deserve favouritism, with plenty of blokes coming through to keep pressure on them. :)

Blackett hasn't left the club, and I'm actually quite surprised to see Orton in front of him. Blackett is a better front rower than Orton, who I believe is more suited to the back row.

Offers were made from the Sharks, much not enough to entice some of these boys to the Shire.

McKendry will start from the bench as an impact player. Grant and Wooly will fight it out for the starting prop position.

Paulo will start in the backrow.

Waddell will start in Toyota cup, but if he remains injury free, he will repace Tighe in the centres.

Smith may have to battle it out for a back row spot with Lewis or Penese.

Gordon is a certainty on one wing with Tia Kalifi/Lewis on the other. Jennings and Gordon can both switch back to fullback to cover for Coote if he gets injured.

Graham may switch to 5/8th of even lock. I still wouldn't rule out Masada playing lock or in the halves depending on form.

Elford and Cooper, out star signings will be playing at Windsor.

Personally I think we should be chasing Bird and Carney for 2010.

Dead set. I just got of the phone with you Fibro and just when I think we are on the same page you want to sign Greg Bird. I take back my offer in terms of your season tickets for 2009. Go back to standing on the southern hill.
