They never were - they signed on as shoulder sponsor but were (and possibly still are) slated as the members jersey sponsor for Round 1 vs Storm.

News owns about 65% of Brisbane Broncos. The Murdoch family owns about 30% of News. These figures are probably out of date, but they're close enough for our purposes.

So the Murdoch family get about 20% of the dividends paid by BBL, and only very indirectly.

coldwell signed on last year @ 200k ish.

there was a rumour that we would be doing the home and away sponsor route but given the difference in sponsorship money (Hisense would be paying at the least as much as LG were) Hisense deserve to be on the front of both.

Coldwell have done well, given that theyre on the front of the members jersey and all the training gear.
