Well its one week out from the start of the AMNRL comp. anyone have any thoughts on who is going to take it out?

Did Apple Pope come back from Australia? I see he is listed in there squad on the Axemen websites.

NY Knights i think will be tough to beat this year. Luke Hume is still there and i hear that they have also got on board Todd Fisher (australian), the fly half for Old Blue Super league.

I think its good that most of the teams have got a couple of imports this year. it will help develop the american players and strengthen the competition.

Anyone else know who other teams have got on board. We all know the Bulls have Daniel Wagon.

Yea the Bulls look to be a force this year with daniel wagon on board and players comin out of retirement!!

I expect that a lot of teams will be more competitive this year and the games to be not so one-sided.

3rd time lucky for the Axemen IMO.
I would have liked to see a couple of good imports, but i think they will have developed enough to go one step further this year, even without imports.

With every team bringing in imports this year I wold imagine that they would as well. I believe that their roster on their website it from last season.

Hopefully the axemen can go 1 better this year, they deserve it.

Apparently they had their last trial game yesterday and the fans got to pick the last 2 spots on the axemen roster, so the roster should be announced soon.

I just hope the fans did the right thing and did not vote for Brent Shorten.
He is over rated and hasn't produced since the under 9's in Helensburgh.

Do every team have imports this year? I know of the well talked about arrivals, but what about the rest? I heard that the Slayers will have 2 or 3 Aussies on board, but I have no idea who.

It's looking that way RV. Some teams usually have a couple of imports but this year it's looking like most teams are using them. Having said that I'm not sure about the Vipers or the 13s.
