ghana up 1-0 very early.... and completely dominating the game for thje first 15 mins of play.


the US will need to pick up their act just to stay in touch at this rate, although they have shown themselves to be great at coming back in this world cup

Wow...

The Ghanaians actually scored a goal from open play. And they are completely dominating which is surprising.

But for the Yanks they just cant stop conceding early goals.

I can still see this one going to extra time atm though...

Gee this looks like a completely different Ghana side to the one we faced, completely dominating the possession and the game, created plenty of chances and looking very good.

I think Dempsey spent half the game on the floor.

USA looked much better in the second half though, Bradley came into the game more and they began to control possession and create some chances, Ghana has begun o sit back, soak up pressure and try to counter.

Pretty bad sportsmanship but the Ghanians here, everyone is staying down for long periods just to waste time

Pretty good game.... Were the hell was this Ghana side in the group stage? I think they can knock off Uruguay if they play similarly to tonight

Ghana advance, they looked shot in the second half but bounced back in extra time and got the vital goal early in the extra period, they were then able to control the tempo

US were simply not mentally strong enough to maintain composure. They fell behind early AGAIN and sleep-walked through extra time.

Who said we couldn't beat the US!

They made Ghana look like freakin Brazil.

Disappointed for a few reasons. first, i hate boateng and hate that he scored. second, i think these two teams are THE weakest of the final 16, so it's a shame they had to meet, whereas you have Argentina/Mexico, Brasil/Chile and Spain/Portugal. I guess that's football though.
