Don't know the dude who got it but surely Jay Lethal had to be a contendor for most improved.

His mike work was sensational, and his ring work was highly improved IMO.

Really? I thought Lethal was much better in 2007, his matches with Robbie E have absolutely sucked balls.

Tough year, not too many stand outs in some categories.

Wrestler basically went to Richards by default on the back of a number of good matches he had. The other contestants either had good years character wise (The Miz) but didn't have the in-ring moments to take the award or vice versa (John Cena, Chris Jericho, AJ Styles etc.). It's one that I could see myself changing in a matter of days.

Show is a decision I keep flip-flopping on. I did enjoy the consistensy of Death by Dishonor VIII and the 'big' main but Mania had a lot of highlights too that I keep remembering and had all the glitz and glamour of a big show. Real tough, at the moment I'm leaning more towards Mania.

Promotion was tough too. Raw was actually fairly decent this year and a big improvement on last year. On the other hand Smackdown has really gone to the dogs, same pedestrian show headlined by a guy who hasn't been remotely relevant since 2004. I'd even go as far back as 1998, but that would be a tad harsh.

ROH is fairly tough to judge given the limited access to it's weekly show, from what I've seen it's solid, but I'm not a big fan of 1 hour shows. PPV wise they had some good shows, just not enough.

WYD - Don't mean to call you out but what didn't you like about Survivor Series? Was it the role the main event had on Cena's future and the fact he no sold it? Well at least not for long.

Didn't know that, I only find the odd episode on YouTube. Even then you can't say it's as available as WWE or TNA.

WYD - Don't mean to call you out but what didn't you like about Survivor Series? Was it the role the main event had on Cena's future and the fact he no sold it? Well at least not for long.

From the survivor series match onwards the ppv was forgettable at best. The main event takes the cake as the catalyst for some of the worst booking of the year. They built the Nexus up so much and Barrett doesn't go over Orton... WTF where's the payoff? At least then I assume Orton is going to get pushed into the next level as the leader of the company but he drops the belt to the Miz out of nowhere then jobs at the next ppv. And the Cena storyline? LOL that was a diabolical fail. We are left with Miz as the champ. Cena more stale than ever. Orton being held back. The Nexus down the toilet. Barrett going nowhere.

Fair enough, I also found the show to be similar to the last TNA PPV, great opening lackluster ending.

I'm still interested to see what they do with Nexus, there is still that Taker storyline to resolve.

How do people see Morrison as most underrated? He has no charisma and is really bad on the mic. He basically screams mid carder.

I guess people see Sheamus as someone being over pushed as a heel, beating John Cena twice for the WWE Title, then taking out another fan favourite in HHH.
