Just remember these blokes won't approve anything like proxy or online voting as these methods will hamper their ability to keep their snouts in the trough.

If you found 5 people to run that kick the tin to the tune of $1k or $2k each. Then run a campaign and try and attract 50-100 people to kick the tin for another $100 each. That would generate enough dollars to get the thing off the ground without any one person having to spend mega bucks.

Did anyone decide which 2 of the nominees should be left off the voting? We all need to be on the same page here. This is very important.

Could have made it a lot closer if the same 2 candidates were left off the ballot by all that voted for nads and nigel.

Just goes to show that if we want to role the current board, there needs to be a joint effort. Nads and Nigel couldn't agree on what 2 candidates should be left off, so they diluted there votes and suffered.

Also shows that as social media users, we're still a vast minority of Panther fans and club members.

Or maybe the majority of social media users are lazy pr*&ks that won't get off their asses and go and vote, or maybe used to the computer doing everything for them?

450 votes is about 0.5% of eligible voters. So 99.5% of all member could not get off their asses. Or maybe the cone of silence imposed by the Board meant that most did not even know or did not know anything about the candidates.

Feltis said the vote showed overwhelming support. hahahahaha.

Got to wonder how many more people might have gone along and voted if they'd gotten their mail out at a reasonable time. I'm hearing stories of people receiving it last week.

I got mine last week. Had to laugh when I got all the info about all the candidates in the mail a few days after the result of the election had been announced.

1 or 2 dodgy things can be written off as a mistake or poor management, but this many dodgy things strongly suggest a concerted effort to make it difficult for people to vote in large numbers and difficult for the new candidates to make themselves known. :x

Well the people that got along and voted did support the existing Board by a big majority.
Well, as every voter had to mark nine squares and there were only two new candidates, what else could they have done? If Nigel and Nads had not stood, there probably would have been around 150-200 fewer voters. Pathetic really.

Interesting. I only got my information in the mail box about the candidates today, and I live 30 minutes walk to the club.
