That's because like all Victorians you're deluded enough to think VFL is anything more than a minority sport in NSW and Qld.

I'm happy just to have a bit of a presence - I prefer that other sports have half a chance as well.

A bit of a presence? You said before that southern NSW was exclusive AFL territory.

Which one of your statements is the lie?

if we are talking about NSW, for example, then clearly it's possible for the AFL to dominate some areas (such as Southern NSW, Western NSW, and the hills district of Sydney) and for them to have a bit of a presence elsewhere - and I'm fine with that.

It doesn't dominate any of those areas. That's bullshit. The only area of NSW where VFL is the main sport is some parts of the Riverina and arguably Broken Hill. That's it. And it doesn't have a presence here AT ALL.

You said Southern NSW was exclusive AFL territory. This implies that no other sport can make claim to that territory.

Clearly your initial statement was bullshit.

And that's purely because of being so close to the Victorian & South Australian borders.

AFL fanatics have been claiming those territories for almost 100 years. It's nice to know that their growth has remained stagnant.

As we saw with the Suns last season, there's a bit of support on the Gold Coast - it's a steady growth - that's fine - there's no rush.

Are you referring to our national game? The correct name is Australian Football. Show some respect for Australian culture and tradition.
A few queastions for you .
1.How can it be our national game. When was this decided & by whom? How can a supposed national game have so little interest shown in it by the majority of the population?

2.AFL was made using British rugby rules in a British colony,& played on a Cricket oval(another British game)..So i think you should show some respect to the Brits..

3.The new correct name is AFL...It has been rebranded that by AFL house,It is what less talented kids in NSW & QLD sign up to AFLQ,or AFL NSW.Dont blame us ..that is the name of the sport.

& finally...
4.In this country "A fair go "is what Aussie culture was built on.Yet AFL is the most compromised sport i know of.
Tell me,how can you claim a game is Australian that goes against this principle?
A game that rewards team that lose on purpose?
A game that gives some teams unfair advantages over others?
A game that rigs the draw so that the bigger drawing teams get to play other drawing teams .No such thing as a fair draw.
A game that penalises a tackle ,& rewards failure..

This was a real problem for me, especially last year.

Collingwood get most of their games at home, the MCG, including the finals and the GF and only traveled away about 3 times I think. Geelong quiet the opposite, less than half their games at home. By round 8 Geelong had played 6 of the previous years finalist, all away. Collingwood had played 2, both at home.

The draw is so ridiculously bias towards Eddie's team and its no wonder they are the richest club as they get to play at the largest venue almost every week.

I've never seen such bias and unfair treatment of other teams in any other sport.

I agree. The pies do get a favorable draw. However it is unfair to proportion the entire blame at Eddie and Vlad. Every side in the AFL, Geelong included, request to play the pies twice, purely for the gate receipts.
