The Charity Shield obviously, in late Feb/early March
Also the Mercury Challenge, around Feb 18-19, could possibly be held at Kogarah due to construction at Wollongong.

Mercury Challenge I get the feeling could be held at Ron Costello Oval in Shellharbour. Seeing as it's sponsored by the Illawarra Mercury I can't imagine them wanting to play it outside the Wollongong/Shellharbour region.

Who cares? There's 9 weekends of rugby league plus a 4 nations series left this season, who gives a sh*t about next years trials just now.

Can I ask what the harm is?

There's a few people who might want to know about this sort of stuff well ahead of time if they want to plan travel etc - lighten up dude.

The Australian Technology Park Performance Centre at Redfern Oval will witness the South Sydney Rabbitohs doing battle against fellow Foundation Club, the Newtown Jets, in the 2011 Return to Redfern match on Saturday, 5 February, 2011.

The annual Return to Redfern match will take Members back to the glory days of both Clubs which will be competing for victory just as they did for 75 years as two of Rugby League’s inner city powerhouses.

The RTR2011 event will encapsulate much of the history held in common between the two Clubs, from their formation in 1908, to the Rabbitohs’ stirring 1955 Grand Final victory over the gallant Bluebags, and on to both Clubs’ participation in the NRL, Toyota Cup and NSW Cup competitions.

The RTR2011 event has been moved from a Sunday to a Saturday afternoon event based on Rabbitohs Members’ feedback, enabling families and regional Members to join in the fun of a Return to Redfern event.

Members who attended previous Return to Redfern matches departed the event with lasting memories and 2011 promises to be just as special.

Were you there when Eric Simms kicked off the first match at Redfern Oval since 1996 at RTR2009?

Were you there when John Sattler scored the winning try in the Legends match at RTR2009?

Were you there when Sam Burgess was handed his first Rabbitohs jersey from Rabbitohs legend Mario Fenech, before going on to make his debut in front of a capacity Australian Technology Park Performance Centre at Redfern Oval at RTR2010?

Were you there when referee Bill Harrigan sent Mario Fenech from the field in the Legends match at RTR2010?

What surprises will RTR2011 hold?

Only 5000 tickets are available for RTR2011, with 4000 Tickets available exclusively to Rabbitohs Ticketed Members and 1000 Tickets available to Newtown Jets Members.

I did hear that the WCC will be on the 27th of February I doubt this will be the case, due to the Charity Shield usually being around that time, wouldnt surpise if it was played the WCC that is late January
