You haven't seen Falcao play have you? He'd cost upward for £35 mil, Michu wasn't a major signing but he's gone from a nothing special La Liga player to looking like a superstar in the EPL, it'd be the equivalent of Bobby Zamora going to a team like Levante and destroying the likes or Barca and Athletico, if that happened you'd be having a laugh and telling us La Liga was a joke
Guys like Mata and Carzola were decent in La Liga but they're both arguably amongst the top 5 best players in the EPL.
In fact if you had to name an EPL top 5, I'd say guys like Aguero, Silva, Yaya Toure, Mata, Carzola, would be there or there abouts.
Of course i have seen him play, but why a POSSIBLE transfer to the prem somehow shows the EPL is a weaker league than La Liga is something he will have to explain.
I also think one or two are slightly over rating the impact Michu has had here. He has scored a few goals but he plays for a lower placed club. He also plays upfront for Swansea who bought him as a midfielder from Spain. Its also only half way through the season so lots could happen yet.
The fact that he played in midfield and still only scored 9 goals less than Falcao in the league actually shows that either scouts are better in the EPL or some of the other clubs wanted to have him to replace there internationals but were out bid by the monster of a club that is Swansea.
Either way its a rather strange argument.
Mata and Carzola decent eh? By decent you mean played for teams who were among the best of the rest and had full international honours.
Shame you think the best players for Valencia and Malaga were only decent. It makes a mockery of any claim about La Liga being the best league. I actually thought these teams were very good until they had to sell players. Guess i overrated La Liga but your the expert...
The top 5 in the prem you mentioned. Carzola maybe, he started well but has faded, the rest no.
