Then again, we could have got a draw without that Gerrard slip. We would have been content with a draw, instead of throwing everyone forward and leaving us so open.

Conceding when we did was freaking massive as well. I'm sure the longer it stayed 0-0 would've suited Rodgers but having to chase against that unit was never going to be ideal.

Liverpool's plan all year has been to blitz the first 20 minutes, hopefully score three goals and demoralise the opposition. That's why you've been ordinary in the second half of most of your games

As I noted before, the longer it remained scoreless, the better it was for the Blues

Suarez was well contained, and Gerrard was reduced to pot-shots from forty yards out. All we had to do was frustrate you and wait for our opportunites, which duly came

Don't agree the longer it remained it remained scoreless it favoured the blues. We wouldn't have had to be chasing the game and with Chelsea having to come at us it would've give us more room to hit you on the counter or just be patient on the ball. But that all means nothing now, we were made to chase and weren't good enough to fashion any huge chances once we went behind.

Coutinho and Sakho in the first half were our only real half chances I think.

At least we will hopefully now get a few days of Jose not crying and whinging about shite followed by Jimmy crying about people laughing at Jose carrying on in such ways.

No, a draw would have suited us better. You got that second goal because Liverpool threw absolutely everyone forward in desperation. If it was still 0-0, there would have been defenders behind the ball.

Can't believe Mourinho didn't shake BR's hand after the game, I mean seriously...

Chelsea too good. I was concerned over this one for a reason! Stuck to their gameplan all night and waited for us to f**k up, which we did (in the elongated stoppage time brought about by their tactics). Didn't really care about the second goal, we were chasing at that point, first goal was a killer though.

Our lack of depth certainly was exposed. Look at Chelsea's 'B team' (although arguable on Ba in current form), still quality. We were missing Henderson and Sturridge wasn't fully fit and it showed big time. When Aspas is who you're turning to off the bench you've got issues. Shows how remarkable our season has been really.

Hopefully a draw next week in everton/city game.

Look, it's embarrassing for Chelsea if they don't finish above Liverpool. Likewise City. Aspas was f**king horrible. He totally butchered 2 easy passes that f**ed any chance of penetrating the box late in the game. How does a richly paid professional fresh off the bench just give such a bad corner like that...

But Chelsea were just too good at their game plan. That being said, I don't really know why they were chasing a draw, since it'd suit Liverpool a lot more. If Gerrard didn't slip over I reckon it would have finished 0-0, or just maybe 1-0 Liverpool.

When Liverpool fans stop mocking the Munich disaster, that is when they can take the moral high ground.

This.

After United's 2012 cup tie at Anfield united fans were also accused of spitting on the memorial despite their fans being held back after kick off and the times not matching up. It's really not hard to believe that a couple Liverpool fans made it up.

Really not hard to believe that a large proportion of Chelsea away fans sung through the Hillsborough minute's silence. Or how about Wembley not long ago.
