Same outfield line-up as Monday night. WTF's is Holger thinking?! He does know you can only make 3 subs? How are 7 players expected to play 3 hours on a heavy pitch inside 2 days?

Ryan in for Galekovic to make his debut though. He is the 555th Socceroo.

Fricken moron Holger. With a more attacking lineup that game could've been over by halftime.

Now we have to win big in the remaining two matches.

The guy simply can not pick a football team. He has to go. 2014 will be a bigger disaster than 2010 with him in charge.

Diabolical. North Korea aren't a terrible team, but they're still a team we are more than capable of beating. To field a defensively minded team made sense given the Koreans' recent scoring form - but they are themselves a fairly solid defensive team. We needed a middle ground that could crack them more than once if we intended to win.

Truthfully, the way we're playing I can't see us racking up particularly impressive scores against Guam or Chinese Taipei.

Mooy, Rogic and Babalj must start against Guam. All players with an attacking mindset.

And we're not out of it completely. If NK have a narrow win over HK, we'll need a combined winning margin of at least 12 over Guam and Taiwan which is not unacheivable with an attacking lineup.

Wow with the Big Bash and that cracking AU/MV first half, I completely forgot about the Roos.

Won 9-0 with Archie scoring a hattrick within 5 minutes of coming off the bench. A brace for Babalj too.

Now well on track for qualifying. We and Nth Korea are now level on 7 pts, +10 GD. They have the harder opponent on Sunday and we have the advantage of playing second so we'll know exactly how many goals we'll need to finish top.

Lets not go crazy, Twizzle.

Last game tonight? Hopefully another hefty score. Would like to see Archie and Emmo starting, but otherwise keep the same youthful side.

As good as we looked at 3-0 at the break against Guam, we really should have scored 5 or 6 in that half. We lacked composure and the veterans can bring some to the table.

Up 5-0 after 35 minutes. With North Korea beating Hong Kong 4-0, we basically need to either win 5-0 or we need to win by 5+ in any other scoreline.

Quietly confident...

North Korea won 4-0.

So we need to match the margin. If we exactly win 4-0, we're out on goal scored.

Took the foot of the accelerator there a little, but got some silverware, top goal-scorer went to Archie, and (somehow) Brett Emerton won MVP.

Bring on China, Japan, and South Korea.
