Three teams on six points then

Chelsea and Spurs have beaten Championship-level teams so Swansea probably deserve the most credit for their win at OT

It'll be interesting to see who drops points tonight

Chelsea look good, especially with Farbregas. Bit more of a challenge for them in the next few weeks though.

No especially confident against Manchester City. Hopefully Moreno is in for Johnson. Or Flanagan is in for Johnson. Or Enrique. Or inanimate carbon rod.

Indeed

Goodison was one test we failed last term. No doubt José will be keen to make amends

'In Rod We Trust,' eh?

The rod would at least hold its positioning in defence so I'm with Red Bear!

Not confident going to the Etihad either but it's still only early days. Hopefully we are alot less flat than last week as surely a trip to City will lift the squad.

I'm certainly looking forward to seeing how you go, given that we're heading over there at the end of the month

Just take note that when you go to the Etihad, make sure that you are at least 2 metres more onside than you initially intended.

Yeah and if the game is anything like last seasons 2 then you neutrals should enjoy a cracker mate.

I'm so pissed off. Umina, you're right. Liverpool showed how it's done at the Etihad (for most of the first half at least). It's typical how just one little defensive error cost us.

We were a lot less incisive with our passing around the box than we usually are. Henderson needs to realise that he's not the bloody QMII, and try to turn quicker. If we were just more clinical, it would have been different. He also could have done a lot better with that free kick move they had in the second half. Lambert should have made it 3-2.

Coutinho was shit, Markovic a lot better.

I wouldn't be too hard on your own players, you will need some time to gel.

Long way to go yet.

LVG has spent 100 million pounds on left wing/wingbacks. But nothing on replacing Vidic and Ferdinand. He doesn't have any centrebacks worth feeding.

Meanwhile Arsenal need a depth defender, a DM and a Striker.

Phil jones can hold his head up at the back for united. He's been the best easily in their 2 games. I think without him it could be even uglier for united but agree with your point BM. United obviously think the chance at getting DiMaria now is worth it and there is still time for them to bring players in.

I would've thought a CB/Leader would be a priority for them tho.

Diego Costa apparently out for 6-12 weeks with his shit hammy again.

Lucky Chelsea have an in form and sprightly Torres and Drogba for back up.

where did the 6-12 come from? Did you read it in the sun?

Time to unleash on Bamfordinho

Was kind of the joke considering the rumour started as a "sun exclusive". And it was reported as 4-6 weeks.

I've always found The Sun to be a very accurate source of information, especially on football matters

Looks like Drogba will probably be starting against Arsenal then. Poor Wenger...
