I'm pretty confident we'll win, the closer the game gets.

The combination of experience of the majority of our squad and having Des will anchor the team as long as we play disciplined footy and contain Inglis. Boys will remember 2012 even if we haven't been in the same form or anything as punishing as Souths were last week. Odds stacked against us will work for us, nothing to lose and everything to prove.

If Souths handle the weight of what's on their shoulders and bully us out of the game i'll respect that.

Final score: Dogs 26-18

C.C: James Graham.

FTS: Mitch Brown.

Good luck Souths Fans. Hopefully no rubbish calls for either team.

I don't think the Dogs have 26 points in them in this one. If you guys win it will more likely be something like 18-14. A grinding game and score line.

Anyway good luck for Sunday! You guys obviously won't feel anywhere near as pressured as Souths will. I'm hoping Souths big names can step up which will calm the team down.

Luck will play in this game depends on how each side will show their hand.

Being it a GF,it will be the usual bash and barge similar to the Dogs V Panthers match.A slugging one-out blow for blow contest that will surely open up the second half.

Of course after the ensuing fallout settles between the two packs of forwards,we will then have a try-fest which will whet the appetite for the neutrals, whilst the fans of both sides collectively will be entranced in what will only be described as a wide-eyed nervous breakdown on steroids.

But for me,after a considerable amount of thought, the conclusion I come up with is to consider this game as similar to a comp match, and I simply can't go past Souths in getting this win.

Canterbury,as solid in defense last week, where also blessed by some poor attacking options from Penrith.

Souths in this regard will have more up their sleeve than David Copperfield at a magician's convention.

Whilst the Panthers only had limited attacking options from mostly one side of the field,Souths have all attacking options from anywhere in the open. And it's this area that I can't see the Dogs stopping Souths as it will be relentless.

Whilst I would love to see a contest that would involve a field-goal in extra time,I'm afraid we will be spared that luxury.

Souths will bot only win this game, they will win it in a memorable fashon that will be looked back throughout the ages.

So,to the victor, the spoils will go.To the vanquish, solemn defeat followed by the anguished feeling of failure will linger on...until next time.

Oh,and it's Souths by 40+.

Another thing that's not being talked about is is Hodgkinson .. the guy is limping so bad that he can't even kick goals.

There is no logical reason why the Dogs should win this game. They have their captain out, halfback on 1 leg, shit form (ironic I know given they have been winning), and are facing a monstrous forward pack.

Dogs have 2 good forwards, the bunnies have 9. Graham is going to have to turn into superman if the dogs are to be a chance. T-Rex is capable of 20 minutes of aggression and then he's spent.

I'm not saying the Bunnies are a lock, but there is going to have to be some serious weirdness go on if the Dogs end up winning.

The best thing Canterbury have going for them is Hasler. He's a crafty mofo and if there's anyone who can craft a game plan for an upset it's him. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do.

The Dogs will have everything against them on Sunday.

If they were to get within 12 points, they would have done well.I don't see that happening.

But after 20-30 minutes,I can see Souths piling on the points in a serious manner which will turn this GF into an amusing embarrassment.

I'm assuming Graham is one but can't work out who the other good forward is - I can't decide between Eastwood, Jackson, Klemmer, Pritchard, Finucane, Williams or Tolman. Lot's of duds in that group.

who would you say has the better forward pack out of roosters and bulldogs??? roosters have a good pack, but they were dominated last week against souths.
