Something I posted on my jersey thread

Saw that. Needs collar though.

And a big arse box around the Crown logo. :sarcasm:

How come roosters are in their heritage strip.

Game day spoilers thread usually has the correct jerseys advertised, but they got both wrong for this game, wonder what happened?

No idea why they're in the heritage strip.

I don't always get jerseys right either, and there was no indication this was on the cards :p

As for Hello I'm The Doctor... oh look, another whinge about sponsorship.

Ahh I see, I always assumed the NRL told the media what jerseys were being worn.

If it's just guess work I'm impressed, you always seem to get it right.

There's no reason why they cant put the Crown logo in the acreage of space below the V.

Thanks Storm for doing your heritage jersey proud, an exact replica of an older jersey - the way it should be.

Just noticed that too. Anyone know the reason why

Most new boot designs and colours usually come out mid-season, and so you'll see a bunch of NRL players wearing new boots.

Puma's new design is different coloured boots. Roosters have half their players sponsored by Puma so it's most noticeable with us I suppose.

You will notice a heap of the nike and Adidas sponsored players wearing knitted boots in the coming weeks as the World Cup begins, and a few wearing high top boots too

Nah - some clubs publicise it (your mob are good, its always on the Game Day Info page of their website), but its mostly educated guesses.

Agree re both - they should be able to drop Crown down... but they won't. Higher up the better for sponsor exposure. But the replication of the original strip is outstanding, they've barely missed anything.

If I recall correctly the club itself signed a deal with Puma yeah?

Third time this season the Warriors have hosted a team and worn the same colour as them... bizarre decision:

Nice jersey.

Shame it clashes somewhat with the knights one. Imo, NZ should just wear that fulltime.

But why, on one of only two occasions you'll play a blue red and white team, would you wear a predominantly blue red and white jersey? It's a joke.
