If I recall correctly the club itself signed a deal with Puma yeah?

Yeah they did, and most of our player a wear their boots now.

I think basically only players who already had their own deals elsewhere wear different boots.

In professional run competition this should never happen.

One team is predominantly in colour, whilst one is in white.

In most professional sports that would be considered normal.

This is far less of a clash than its being made out be.

Why are the sleeves white?? It looks too much like their NZ Flag Jersey from a few years ago instead of the 1995 jersey it is meant to look like. They also look like the bulldogs from a distance.

This..with white shorts would have been the go.

How did some of you folk watch the game prior to the introduction of home and away jerseys?

The two teams were easily distinguishable.

Completely agree.

One was predominantly white with a red V and blue shoulders, while the other was predominantly blue with red V and white shoulders.

The people complaining about the "clash" today must also think that most teams own home and away jerseys clash with each other... Despite them being designed and approved on the basis that they are completely different (besides Souffs)

Surely the onus is on the away team to not clash.

Sure, but when the away team has a certain colour range, it's a bit silly to go "oh lets wear this one" when it's identical colours (save for a lash of green) to those colours!

It's the same as when NZ hosted us and later Canberra at Eden Park - both times wearing the electric blue kit against blue teams.

They're developing a track record of stupid jersey choices when they have several options.

I still say there opponents are making stupid choices though. The home team has say on wearing what ever jersey has been approved by the NRL as far as Im concerned.

As for yesterday being a clash, once again I think that's overstated.

It wasn't too bad but it could have still been avoided. And I stand by the fact if the Warriors have FIVE jerseys, FOUR of which dont feature the Knights' club colours, they should, I dunno, choose one of those?

Personally as a bit of a jersey nerd I wish a full release of each club's playing strip was put forward like the Tigers' was at the start of the year.
