Knights should wear the Hi Vis strip instead then
Could of been worse I suppose, like in the ESL where one team had to wear another teams jersey.
If I recall correctly the club itself signed a deal with Puma yeah?
In professional run competition this should never happen.

What a joke that clash in NZ was able to go ahead.....amateur
How did some of you folk watch the game prior to the introduction of home and away jerseys?
The two teams were easily distinguishable.
Surely the onus is on the away team to not clash.
Did that really happen?
Sure, but when the away team has a certain colour range, it's a bit silly to go "oh lets wear this one" when it's identical colours (save for a lash of green) to those colours!
It's the same as when NZ hosted us and later Canberra at Eden Park - both times wearing the electric blue kit against blue teams.
They're developing a track record of stupid jersey choices when they have several options.

I still say there opponents are making stupid choices though. The home team has say on wearing what ever jersey has been approved by the NRL as far as Im concerned.
As for yesterday being a clash, once again I think that's overstated.
Personally as a bit of a jersey nerd I wish a full release of each club's playing strip was put forward like the Tigers' was at the start of the year.
