St George is now Bank of Melbourne... I dont think St George banks exist anymore, although Ive been down here 3 years, so I dont know whats happening up north these days.

Oh dear, even if we forgive the fact that living in Victoriania might cloud your knowledge of what happens in the rest of the world, surely if you thought for 2 seconds about that statement as a rugby league fan (posting in this thread nonetheless) you'd realise what a silly thing that is to say?

From my understanding Westpac own St George, BankSA and Bank of Melbourne.

St George operate in NSW, QLD and WA, while Bank SA operate in SA and NT. Bank of Melbourne are solely in Victoriania.

Hard to judge some until I have seen them being worn but most seem ok. Canberra seems closest to thier NRL kit design

I don't understand why you would alter the st george bank logo in your design? Do you honestly think they would tamper with their logo and allow the dragon to be in one spot and their name in another? Just doesn't make sense?

I quite like your design but would have the stripes on the body and on the sleeves aligned

No matter what I tried, putting the sponsor on the stripes ruined the jersey.
I would think splitting the dragon from the text would make the bank very happy as it would give them more jersey space...do I really think they would do it?...of course not but it is good to try different things.

Looks like a perfect sponsor for Melbourne. Good to see the new owners putting some effort into finding a premium sponsor that will integrate well. Assuming it actually happens that is.
