This is a random comment, but I saw the NRL Fantasy logo today.

Now I've grown to like the new NRL logo, its solid and a definite improvement on the old one.

But as strange as it is, something about the fantasy logo really caught my eye. Obviously in its current half-baked state, it's nowhere near good enough as a competition logo. But the way it utilises the
?Federation Star in its design...I think it wouldn't have been a bad idea as a concept for the new NRL logo. Because as good as the new logo is...it doesn't really catch the eye or make a statement.

Anyway, just a thought

Quick trivia- not the federation (commonwealth star) it has 7 points.
The one in that logo is 5 pointed (epsilon).

Heard that Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs has tampered with their colours for the Auckland Nines. Apparently they have added yellow to their strip? Another pitiful example of confusing the public through "marketing" ideas!

I hope I have heard wrong but I'm sure they have added a colour(yellow) to their blue & white for the Nines?

Check out the 9s thread.

Id say adding a bit of yellow is the least of your concerns in relation to that jersey.

Perhaps you could look back through the last few pages before posting..

Not only have they added extra colours but it is way too "busy".

The Cows jerseys for this season are $200 (on the official site) for bigger dudes - 4XL and upwards which probably equates to a 2XL in years gone by.

The ISC slim fit jerseys are a joke and now they are slugging the bigger units with $20 for the 'extra material'!

With the greatest respect it really isn't hard to flip through the last 2-3 pages, you'll see it several times.

All sixteen clubs again for a refresher anyway....

yep you'll see my despair played out on this thread and the jeseys thread on dragons forum makes jerseys almost unobtainable to larger guys and yet just about every super league team is sponsored by isc and there are no problems getting larger sizes from the uk if you want them at least the cowboys supply the larger sizes the dragons are stopping at 3XL ffs:x

I just cant believe that people still use that default 15 posts per page or whatever it is. Simplest thing that everyone on the forum can do is change thr setting to 50 posts per page. Makes it so much easier. Noone here is on dial up anymore...im sure you can load 50 posts in about 3 seconds. Would cut down on a hell of alot of duplicate posting in these mega threads

I noticed on the Eels website it states you can buy the Eels nines jersey for $110 or if your a member $99. Its good to see clubs are starting to wind back the price of jerseys.
