This is the same club who decided to drop the "Melbourne" part of their twitter handle, citing that all the NFL and MLB teams in America do it.

I would've thought keeping the city identifier in a one-team town that's battling to be recognised in the game would be important... apparently not.

Agreed. Anyone who searches Melbourne Storm will still bring up @storm. Shorter twitter handles are better as it allows you more characters when replying

Of course the hats took shit, but find me a snapback that doesnt...

But people will wear them, and as long as its not hurting the brand, anything people wear in public prominantly showing their support is good.

Its basically free advertising.

These basketball jerseys are called the NRL Courtside Singlets. They're made by Lenco, which is the NZ arm of ISC as far as I can ascertain and seem to be an NZ only release at the moment.
