2014 Mock Draft Thread

I read an article this morning from the new Browns GM, Ray Farmer, speaking about drafting a QB. As per below:

Q: The guy you have in mind, would you take him at No. 4?

A: I'd say that No. 4 is not necessarily where I would take the guy that I like. Again, it may not be the name that everybody thinks is the latest, greatest, and the easy one to spot. There's definitely an art to selecting people in the draft and it's finding the right name that fits who you want to be.

I think the Browns, and even the Raiders and Vikings for that matter, might look to the second round if Bridgewater and Manziel are off the board.

So because of Reggies monumental f**k up at tackle in the free agency... It looks like we ain't gonna be drafting a Sammy Watkins or one if those QBs.

I'd say one of those stud tackles Robinson or Matthews will be drafted. Which isn't as sexy as a QB or WR... But certainly nothing to be scoffed at.

As a result I've seen some interesting mocks come up... The majority have us taking Carr either late in the first or early in the 2nd.

In pat kirwans mock he had us picking up Robinson at 5 and trading up to the Seahawks spot to pick up Johny Manziel who falls that far.

Personally everything I'm hearing online is that Oakland actually fancy Carr far more than Manziel... Same with the browns.

I probably should have waited till closer to the draft to do it would have been a little more accurate with prospects draft stock rising/falling and where they are projected to be taken becoming clearer

I think there is a very good chance breeland is still there in the 3rd at least, he's not in my top 5

don't agree with many of those rankings either plenty of players you have ranked too low imo but with such a deep class everybody will have vastly different opinions makes for good discussions at least.
