As for Will Hopoate, he can't get here soon enough. It will be interesting seeing where he ends up playing, given our dire need of reliable wingers but he will likely star in any backline position.

Yeah, it does seem a bit odd sticky's only signing players for two years. If the team does well in '14 and '15 you'd expect us to lose a few.

As long as he can win the ruck (attack and defence) I'm not too bothered how many metres he makes.

He has good height, and I'm no physicist but that should give him leverage in the wrestle. Is he much of an offloader? Or do we still think that's just a matter of tactics?

Not so. It was always the shorter guys (the so-called 'scientific wrestlers') like Red Bastein and Mark Lewin, who had the edge over the taller guys like Tex MacKenzie and Killer Kowolski. I know you'll say that Mario Milano and Dominic Denucci were both tall AND fast, but they were exceptions rather than the rule, I think.
Of course if Lee Mossop has a good working knowledge of the 'sleeper hold', that would be a bonus.
