I only watched the first half last night but Norman looked really good I didn't realise how quick he was

With sandow Norman and Hayne all representing talented players in our spine, hooker is the obvious weakness there.

If Kelly is destined to have a crack there, whether at 9 or 14, do you think he should have some time there this year?

True, but I don't rate him that highly as a fullback.. It's almost a tragedy that this guy is not playing in his rightful position.

Only for the broncs.

Gee Peter Wallace is going very ordinary. They should have Hoffman at 1 prince at seven and Norman at 6.

He had a lot of friends too

Not getting my point? Just saying Everyone else was super excited that after we signed Sandow he stepped up his level of play for Souths just like Norman has but when he got here the form didn't carry over. So I warn people not to get too excited.

about Norman playing fullback for us (Broncos), the coach is playing him there because of his ball playing ability, Hoffman is a great ball runner and very reliable catcher but he lacks the ball playing ability that Norman has and to be honest in the past when he has played 5/8 for us he has looked rubbish

I think having his game simplified and he knows exactly what his options are has seen him improve out of sight, or the big cash incentive on offer at Parra, not sure which

I IQ'd the game and watched it yesterday.

Hock played 80 mins on the LHS as an edge forward. He was enthusiastic and took the ball up pretty hard. He has an off load and is certainly aggressive in defence.

As Stags said, he got penalised for a crusher tackle at one point, and the commentators sledged him pointing out his history of ill discipline.

I think he'll be a handy player and a million % better than what Ben Smith offers.

The game however was not high quality with plenty of poor handling errors, missed tackles etc.

On a side note Timmy Smith steered the Wakefield ship and did a pretty good job. He is not NRL standard (der) based on his stupid calls, grubber kicks to nobody in his own half etc etc. The commentators talked him up like he was Joey Johns however.

I though Corey Norman had a wow of a game vs W/Tigers. Scored a try, set up another and always looked dangerous.
