are you saying there is nothing in it for him? .... 2 or 3 years in the nrl on good money is in it for him

everything i have read/heard indicates he has some sort of agreement that says he is obliged to go back to wigan at the end of 2 or 3 years - nothing about "or stay in australia" ..... if you read what wigan said in their press statements they say they accept players want to go and test themselves, they have decided to make it a money spinner, they are ok for him to go and improve himself and then come back (and he himself also is singing from the same song sheet)

judging by those statements i think it's possible that money could change the timeframes if he really wanted to stay

Two or three years in the NRL is indeed good money for him, but eight years is even better. He doesn't need a financial advisor to tell him that, and agreeing to let Wigan control how much he earns for the next four years is financial madness.

As for him planning to go back to Wigan, that's just like Mateo's parting comments from here and Hopoate's at Manly. Just nice words in the emotion of the moment.

these days who knows what will be good "financially" in 4 years? ... 4 years ago it wasn't financially worth coming to the NRL from ESL - now it is - in 4 years, who knows?

but thats cool - i am just going off everything i've read - i might be entirely wrong .... you've obviously read his contract and know how it will all work :thumn

Has hock ever had a strong coach with the ability to reel in the beast in him?.... Stuart will be the best coach he'll ever have.

There was no Super League matches this weekend. Looks like it was a gap week for the Challenge Cup games.

Mossop did not play for Wigan in their game vs Hull KR.

Hock did play for Widnes vs Workington. He scored a try and the press talked him up as causing damage. Yes he got sighted after that for nudging the ref, but headlines today are that he will be free to play for England. He is currently in camp with the team for the England vs Exiles game.
