Focusing on defense and counter attack can be brilliant. And it's good we have a different plan for Bayern compared to what we had for Watford. For about 9 years Wenger didn't bother with adapting to anyone. Since last year that has finally changed.

We had the focus to match our ability, if only we were that focused in the first 2 games, we'd be in a position to win this group.

Yeah I must have got my stats from a bad source. I was wrong about the shots on goal too, they had less. It was 8-6, and the most a Guardiola team has ever had against them in the Champions League.

So I'll take 27% possession if I'm going to have more shots in that 27% than they do in their 73%.
