As a Spurs fan if somebody had told me before this season that we would (hopefully) finish 2nd and ahead of the scum, I would have gladly taken it.

But Leicester (or Lie-Chester as some dickhead on the news called them this morning) winning it all? Hollywood stuff.

Haven't done it yet!

We'll only have half a team left for the remaining games

we only need to win one more game to tie up second spot, Soton and Newcastle, if we cant win one of them with the players we have left we dont deserve to be second, and that is assuming that the Goons beat Citihad

Congrats Lecesiter truly heartbreaking to watch but thoroughly deserved and has been won for a while, as for us Kane will want the golden boot, surely that's enough incentive for us to win on the wkend and seal second, hopefully we don't lie down at toons either because we owe it to the competitions integrity. For any punters out there empty ur hard earned on Chelski on the final day aswell

At least Wenger can tell the fans he won something, the 'we did the double over the champions' trophy

Great to see Leicester wrap it up. Many congratulations to Tinks

Being involved in Tottenham's demise is a bonus

There was an amusing tweet doing the rounds recently about Peter Schmeichel's exploits since Liverpool last won the league - he managed to join Man United, win it five times, retire, and now his son has won it with Leicester...

Good to see you around these parts again Jimbo, I saw a meme about schmeichel yesterday that was similar, something along the lines of "Peter Schmeichel sperm beat LFC to a Premier League title" even I had to laugh at that one.

Not quite accurate though, given that young Kasper was three when LFC last won it. Pretty close though!

Incidentally Mark Schwarzer is now the most successful Australian in PL history with two wins, although it remains to be seen whether he'll get a medal

The Thai owners of LCFC strike me as the type of owners who will make sure everyone in the squad gets a winners medal.

I love Schwarzer but IMO doesn't even deserve to be called an EPL winner if all he did during the whole season was just sit on a chair

Backup keepers help keep the #1 competitive, and considering schmeichel has been one of the best this season, he can say he helped contribute to that.

Don't you have to play 10 games during the season or have the rules changed?

Sounds like a cop-out to me. Impressing in training is a lot different to actually getting the business done on the field.

I beleive it's five, although the club can apply for more medals so that everyone gets one as Jose did last year. Beavis also got one last year even though he left in January

It's not a cop out IMO, if Mignolet had a good keeper at #2 then I'd bet he would have to lift his performances through fear of being dropped. Not to mention having someone like Schwarzer would be good for Kasper for his experience and knowledge alone. He's 43 and been everywhere and been doing it for a long time. He might not have been between the posts at all but I doubt he's just sat their collecting a pay check.
