2015/16 Premier League

Yes City scored 5 goals in 13 minutes. Boring.

The Chelsea implosion is much more interesting. Dominated at Stamford Bridge by Southampton to lose 3-1. It wasn't luck, Southampton were just much better. 8 points in 8 games. 5 points in 7 games when you discount the guaranteed 3 points from Mourinho v Wenger. Fingers crossed Mourinho gets sacked before the return fixture, we might win it then.

Mourinho quotes from a 7 minute uninterrupted answer: "I'm the best." "Chelsea will have to sack me." "The referees are afraid to give clear penalties to us." "Sadness brings sadness."

Ivanovic and Terry are sooooooo bad. They've fallen off a cliff. So slow but they've always been slow, they're just so bad now at giving up the ball and getting lost and not staying infront of attackers. They're not Premier League material.

Matic and Fabregas also terrible. Poor Matic, the ultimate humiliation, being a substitute and getting substituted yourself 17 minutes later.

Chelsea lol.

In more hilarious news, three biggish clubs already cut adrift at the bottom in a season where going down would be akin to econkmic apocalypse.please dog make it so.

First to go Rodgers or Jose?

Has to be Rodgers you would think but you never know.

Chelsea are defensively weak. Exploited in the midfield and nothing much of substance to get back and defend. Begovic is getting a lot of blame but when he's isolated so often he's helpless. The injury to Courtois is a big blow (should've kept Cech around) but isn't a critical defeat to the season.

The title is gone. Yes it's only 8 games in but that's almost a quarter of the season. They should now focus on CL qualification, a good performance in the CL (quarters minimum) and trying to take out either the League Cup or FA Cup for those silverware hungry fans.

Falcao is cabbage. That ACL injury ruined him.

3-0. Sanchez, Ozil, Walcott absolutely blitzed them in the first 20 minutes. Then we sat on the lead. Sanchez especially did nasty things to Darmian.

Gary Neville said that playing us at our best was like chasing shadows. That's what this game felt like.

United are where we were a couple of years ago. Just too slow. We were just so much faster than them.

If all goes to plan over the next 2 match weeks, we should end October in 1st place and be as good a chance as any for the league.

We have two very winnable games while City has to go to Old Trafford. Surely at home against the noisy neighbours United will be good enough to win.

Apologies for taking the limelight off your big win by the way
