Don't know why the Dragon's v Dogs next Monday can't be at the more family friendly time of 2 or 3pm? It's not even a channel 9 Game.

Why would 9 choose Wests Tigers v Titans over Broncos v Manly as NSW Friday night game? Less than 10k at Leichhardt between two sides in bottom four or a game with the side on top of the ladder at home playing in front of 35k...

Wouldn't that be because the games were chosen before the season started and before it was obvious what the form of each side would be like? lol

No, because they get both games anyway and can choose whichever one they like to play live into either market.

It's just a pain in the arse with 5 year olds getting home at 7pm and listening to the missus whinge about getting them showered in bed Whilst making school lunches etc. Probably first world problems but rules us out as a family. Might still go by myself though.

Correct.

Although Ch9 already knew they had both Friday night games, the Sunday before the round is the deadline to decide which of those Friday night games go live into NSW or QLD (or both).
On rare occasions have NSW and QLD had the same game broadcast live into their states. This season, that occurred in Rds 4/6/7.

And yes, I agree that Broncos vs Manly should've been broadcast live into NSW, and would've got more viewers than Tigers vs Titans.

What’s the realistic expectation for the Monday crowd at ANZ?

St George members get in for free and they are coming first, Bulldogs will have their best team on paper for the first time in a long time (BMoz is the only question mark but I'm hearing should play), Queens Birthday long weekend & weather predictions are for a sunny day!

I can see this getting 40,000+ but wouldn't be shocked if it only drew 20-25,000. St George supporters still love to think it's the 60's and 70's and they have the most supporters in the NRL and they're the most supported "away" team, maybe it's time to prove it?
