well rusty wasn't there. supposedly he was busy building something
ANZ really is just a crowd killer. At some stage the NRL is going to have to pay the clubs to unsuckle from the ANZ teat and get them a 40k stadium at Parramatta built (Souths back to SFS). Short term pain for long term gain.
- Souths/Easts/St G/Cronulla out of a revamped SFS
- Wests/Penrith/Bulldogs/Parramatta out of new Parra stadium
- Smaller drawing games to historic home grounds
- Manly shared between Central Coast and Brookvale
Simples. Good geographic spread, good public transport access to both, reasonably sized, sheltered stadiums with entertainment options outside.

Roosters dragons will not crack 40,000. Still tickets available in all categories and the roosters have been flogging tickets on Twitter constantly.
Particularly telling is the dragons fans section is still not sold out even after 5 wins on the trot.
Whatever idiot thought it a great idea to jack up the prices is going to be embarrassed this afternoon
No surprise that Roosters ain't selling out Allinaz yet the Sydney Derby can. Explain that 'heartland'. It's pathetic that Sydney Derby is getting bigger crowds than Dragon/Roosters and Rooster/Souths 100+ year rivalry just like that.
I don't think the 8pm thing is that big of a deal. Being a FOX game it will probably actually start at that time, which is pretty close to the time Friday games start.
Don't underestimate it. I took my kids to the dawn service this morning (for the first time) and they are already shattered from the early morning after a school week. No way are they going tonight. One of the VOR family's two member tickets will be laying fallow tonight.

It was reported days ago that only 3k were left
Very ordinary crowd again at Hunter. But as Chicken Hunter mentioned last week, 15-17k is normal for us now unfortunately.
Geez it looks poor for Newcastle, wasn't that long ago you would have expected at least 25k on ANZAC day.
