Parra play the Knights only once this year, and that is at Hunter Stadium (Rd 7). However, last year Parramatta Stadium did get 15,566 when the Knights played there.

Even right during the middle of the SL-war when there was a dropoff in crowds and interest in RL in 1996, Cowboys still managed to get excellent crowds against teams which didn't make the finals, including 25k vs Penrith, 27k vs Souffs and even nearly 25k vs Crushers on a Friday night!

What happened up there with all those passionate RL fans? I thought Nth QLD was RL heartland.

Yea poor broncos have no star players, apart from boyd, vidot, reed, hodges, milford, hunt, Mcguire, Blair, glenn, Gillett, Parker and thaiday they've got no international players. They have the riches club, easily the best stadium, a successful history and a huge city all to themselves, the fact that they don't sell out every game and make the top 4 every year is a bit of a joke

It makes me well up thinking about it, I feel so sorry for them.

Ah VOR - close to zero.

I bought some tickets for the office this morning and the pax was 37,200. I was hoping that 3,000 would be sold today and 3,000 - 5,000 tomorrow.

Im thinking that they have sold 1,500+ today, so lets say the pax is nearing 39,000, then tomorrow they get 4,000 including rock ups. 43,000 minus both slack members and we have 41,000.

Such a shame.

If you're still in section 508 (?) - you will be looking over the empty GA side, I even have my doubts that the eastern level 7 will be sold, and I don't think there will be many, if any, up in level 9 north.
