Imagine Rodgers with a DGB plus Nelson, Cobb and Adams. It would be the Green Bay Globetrotters, we would win every game 60-50.

The more I see of Nelson Agholor, the more I like him. Not only was he an extremely productive WR for USC, but he is an excellent punt-returner, as well. He had more than 100 receptions, he can get deep, and he has returned four punts for TDs over the past two years. CBS Sportsline rates him as a late second/early third, but I think he can crack the first round

- This is a horrible draft for QBs, I don't like Mariotta or Winston at all and there don't seem to be many mid range guys with potential, I'm sure some will emerge through the draft process but it looks like a very weak class.
I think you are severely underrating Mariota the guy is a top QB prospect, not Luck elite level prospect, he has some things to improve but very good, not many are Luck/Elway/Manning type of prospect with basically zero faults.

Mariota stands head and shoulders above the rest of the QB's in this class.

You are spot on about the rest though Winston is overrated imo along with Brett Hundley from UCLA & Sean Mannion from Oregon State, overall a weak class.

The guys I think may emerge as we get closer to the draft are Garrett Grayson from Colorado State & Shane Carden from East Carolina.

Yeah read that earlier today, seriously considering going back, might not be such a bad option, but considering a lot of that team is leaving though.

2015 NFL Draft: Talented but troubled WR Green-Beckham chooses NFL

The winding career path of Dorial Green-Beckham has taken another turn as the talented, but troubled wide receiver has decided to enter the 2015 NFL Draft, according to Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops.

Based on talent, he is arguably one of the top-10 prospects in the upcoming draft class. But Green-Beckham's well-documented off-field history makes his draft projection tough to predict. He is currently ranked as the No. 26 player in the 2015 class by NFLDraftScout.com and the No. 5 wide receiver prospect available.

At 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, Green-Beckham has rare athletic traits for a player his size, showing the natural ballskills and coordination to be effective at every level of the field. He's a physical specimen, but does need to work on several technical aspects of the position before he's ready for the NFL game.

Green-Beckham was dismissed by Missouri this past April following several off-field incidents, most recently a suspected burglary and assault. Green-Beckham has also had multiple run-ins with the law involving marijuana possession since he graduated high school.

After enrolling at Oklahoma over the summer, he applied for a waiver to play immediately, but that was denied, forcing Green-Beckham to sit out the 2014 season.

Several around the league thought he might stay with the Sooners in 2015 to rehab his image before making the jump, but now three years removed from high school, Green-Beckham has decided to go pro.

Although his issues have mostly been drug and marijuana related, Green-Beckham was also involved in a domestic dispute April 2014 when he pushed a female down a flight of stairs. He wasn't arrested or charged, mostly due to the fact that no one would press charges, but the incident still happened and the NFL isn't in a position to ignore these types of situations.

Shortly after the Ray Rice incident last summer, the NFL announced new domestic abuse policies and stricter penalties, including a six game ban for first time offenders. But in a letter that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell sent to all 32 clubs, he included the language for a longer suspension for first time offenders if circumstances warrant it, including “a prior incident before joining the NFL.”

So if Green-Beckham is involved in a domestic abuse incident while on a NFL roster, he would be subject to a stricter penalty than just the expected six game suspension.

It's very possible Green-Beckham stays out of trouble once in the NFL, but nonetheless, it's a factor for teams to consider when deciding whether or not to draft the super-talented pass catcher.

A jump to the NFL following an ineligible season wouldn't be an unprecedented move. Two summers ago, LSU dismissed Tyrann Mathieu from the football program due to repeated failed drug tests. Instead of transferring to a FCS program to play the 2012 college football season,

Mathieu sat out and entered the 2013 NFL Draft where he was selected in the third round by the Arizona Cardinals. Mathieu has stayed out of trouble at the pro level (so far) and if not for a few injuries, he has been one of the league's top up-and-comers at the safety position.

On the flipside, the Cleveland Browns took a flier on troubled wide receiver Josh Gordon in the second round of the Supplemental Draft in July 2012. Despite playing in only 14 games in 2013, he led the league in receiving yards (1,646) and plays of 20+ yards (30).

But Gordon was suspended 11 games this past season for multiple failed drug tests and off-field troubles and his character has been a strong question mark since he entered the league.

Will Gordon be able to stay out of trouble and on the field? Only time will tell, but many around the league are skeptical due to his off-field problems.

Based on talent alone, Green-Beckham has the ability to be a similar pro prospect as A.J. Green and earn top-10 grades. But factoring in the character concerns, it would be unfair to stamp him with a round projection this early in the process.

If Green-Beckham stays clean off the field, tests off-the-charts as expected at the NFL Combine and most importantly presents himself well during the interview process, it's not crazy to think he still has a chance at being a first round pick next spring.

I've read repeatedly that DGB threw a woman down a flight of stairs, except that official reports say that he shoved her when she came between him and his girlfriend and she fell down four steps. She was unhurt and declined to press charges. He owned up to it, apologized, and voluntarily entered an anger management program. There were no such incidents before and none after. I don't find this to be a dealbreaker, but I would certainly want to hear what he has to say during interviews at the Combine.

The weed stuff is an issue but no biggie

I think he's basically Kap without the arm, I question whether he has the ability to really drive the ball from the pocket, a lot of his plays are pitch and catch throws to open receivers. I love his character and athletic ability but I'm skeptical as to how he can succeed from the pocket in the NFL

You still have burglary and assault & that's just the stuff mentioned in this article that we know about, teams will find out if there is more which there likely is imo.

I do like both these guys as development types, although their bowl performances were pretty terrible.

I like Grayson's arm and accuracy but he's a bit of a statue, keen to see how he goes in the Senior Bowl

Winston may not even declare if you believe the reports
Jameis Winston declares for the draft....

FSU QB Jameis Winston going pro

Quarterback Jameis Winston won't be back in a Florida State uniform next season, instead opting to enter the NFL draft.

Winston confirmed the decision in a statement issued late Wednesday morning by The Legacy Agency, which will represent him. Winston's father, Antonor Winston, had told ESPN earlier Wednesday that his son had decided to enter the draft after initially planning to announce the decision after Monday's College Football Playoff National Championship presented by AT&T.

"After weighing this decision with my family and friends, I have decided to declare for the 2015 NFL Draft and forgo my remaining eligibility at Florida State," Winston said in the statement. "I reached this very difficult decision after careful consideration and long thought, realizing how difficult it would be to say goodbye to my family at Florida State. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to wear the garnet and gold and have greatly enjoyed my time as a Seminole, both as an athlete and a student in the classroom."

Antonor Winston said his son received a first-round grade from the NFL draft advisory committee.

ESPN NFL Draft Insider Mel Kiper Jr. has Winston rated as the second-best quarterback behind 2014 Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariotaand the sixth player overall on his latest Big Board. Kiper thinks that Winston has special pocket instincts and the necessary vision, size, arm strength and athleticism to make it in the NFL.

In a conference call with reporters Tuesday, ESPN's Todd McShay said he believes that Winston is a better pro prospect than Mariota.

"[Florida State quarterback] Jameis Winston, to me, is the better prospect," McShay said. "Marcus Mariota is still a very good prospect but needs developing. They both have a chance to be great. But they both come with red flags. Winston's red flags are off the field."

Winston wrapped up his redshirt sophomore season with a loss to Oregon in the Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual. He was 26-1 as a starter and led Florida State to the national championship last season.

While off-the-field incidents swirled throughout much of his time at FSU, Winston's numbers were among the best in college football when he was on the field. Winston ranks fourth in touchdown passes (65), fourth in passing yards (7,964) and second in passes of 20 yards or more (124) since the start of the 2013 season.

Winston's statistics fell off this season as he threw for 3,907 yards, 25 touchdowns and had 18 interceptions. He also rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns.

"I will always take pride in leading our team back to national prominence and am confident that my returning teammates will continue the success for many years to come," said Winston, who thanked Seminoles fans, teammates and the entire coaching staff in the statement.

Jimbo Fisher called it a "blessing" to coach Winston.

"He's one of the unique players that I've ever had the privilege to coach," Fisher said in a statement. "He embodies what you as a coach want as a person, a student and a player. He's a genuine and honest guy. He's one of the greatest players in Florida State history. I want to thank him for the way he represented himself and the organization in so many tough situations and the professionalism in which he handled the ability to be such a great teammate to his teammates and always put them and the program above himself. That's a very unique ability to be able to do especially at his age."

The biggest knocks on Winston remain his off-the-field scandals, which included a rape allegation for which he was not charged. In December 2014, Florida State held an internal student code of conduct hearing regarding those allegations in which an independent arbiter ruled that there was not enough evidence to find Winston guilty.

The accuser's lawyers filed a civil lawsuit against Florida State on Wednesday, alleging it didn't properly protect her Title IX rights.

Winston also served a one-game suspension earlier this season for yelling a vulgar phrase in an on-campus dining area.

McShay on Tuesday acknowledged that Winston's off-the-field trouble might scare away some NFL teams.

"The cons about Jameis Winston are, what are you getting with maturity and with the individual off the field? Can he stay out of trouble? And can he handle himself in a manner where you feel comfortable giving him $25 million or $30 million and tagging him from day one as the face of your franchise? It's hard, man. I don't know the answer right now," he said.

Winston could become the third Florida State quarterback selected in the first round in the past five years, joining Christian Ponder in 2011 and EJ Manuel in '13. According to ESPN Stats & Information, it would be the first time in the common draft era (since 1967) that three quarterbacks from the same school were picked in the first round in a five-year span.

"As I embark on the next challenge of playing in the NFL, I look forward to contributing to a long line of successful alumni at the next level," Winston said in the statement. "I want you all to know that I will make Seminole Nation proud and continue to bring the passion and love for the game you all have seen in Doak Campbell since my first day as a 'Nole. Thank you for making my time in Tallahassee some of the best years of my life."

Winston's father said that initial plans to delay an announcement were scuttled by extensive media attention and that after Jameis Winston prayed on the decision Tuesday night, he felt comfortable with his plan to leave for the NFL.

The QB will be represented by Greg Genske of The Legacy Agency. Winston, a pitcher at FSU who was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 15th round in 2012, also chose that agency to advise him in baseball. NCAA rules allow baseball players to have advisers and maintain their eligibility.
